The Walking Dead “Not Tomorrow Yet” Episode Review & Discussion | 6×12

Summary

We are now at FOUR straight episodes that were solid or great. The show is really finding it’s swagger about the same time the comics received its second wind, and that’s with the introduction of the saviors and Negan. The buildup to meeting Negan has already exceeded all of our expectations. This episode was action packed and full of many first kills; Glenn, Tara, and Gabriel to name a few. Once it looked like the crew was free to go home, they learned they’re being watched, and that’s where the episode left us. Very solid episode, yet again!

P.S. You’re going to want to make sure to tune in next week! It looks to be heavily influenced by the comics!

The Good:
+ Glenn’s first kill
+ The Ambush on the saviors
+ Glenn escaping death AGAIN
+ The photos of Lucille’s victims
+ Carol got some good screen-time
+ Acorn Cookies
+ Abraham & Rosita’s breakup
+ Eugene’s line after the breakup
+ “AMEN” after Gabriel’s kill

The Bad:
– Episode had a slow first half
– Coincidence in finding Gregory’s zombie-twin
– Attempts to hide Tara’s pregnancy (I guess that can’t be a knock on the show)
