9 – Superman Game by Rocksteady
Okay, this one is a little harder to believe – but there’s no telling what this team could do with Superman. After handling Batman: Arkham Knight and with Batman V Superman in theatres, this one may be more possible than you’d think. With the Justice League film just around the corner and superhero mayhem showing no signs of stopping, there is no telling what could happen. Then again, Rocksteady may want to stretch their creative limbs outside the DC realm and tackle some newer creative ideas. While nothing has been said, it’s something to keep in mind when heading into E3.
8 – Remasters/Ports
There are so many speculated and confirmed remasters and ports. The first confirmed remaster comes from Square Enix in the form of Final Fantasy XII. Others are not so certain. There are whispers that Nintendo my localize Mother 3 for North America – if true, EarthBound fans will have a field day with this. While there are other rumored remasters, one of the most anticipated comes from Take-Two. Of course, I’m talking about a possible Red Dead Redemption remaster – or even possibly a sequel. Regardless, at least Final Fantasy XII fans have cause to rejoice.
7 – Capcom Game Drop
This one is full of fueled speculation thanks to some leaked images. It’s quite possible that Capcom is working on Dead Rising 4. Furthermore, it could be possible that Resident Evil 7 is on the horizon. I don’t see zombies slowing down very soon – but it’s still not confirmed whether these two sequels are actually a thing.
