coleman
Liverpool last lost at home to Crystal Palace in April 2017, with former player Cristian Benteke scoring two goals. This year's derby will be a mouthwatering encounter since, unlike Liverpool, the league leaders have enjoyed a 4-game unbeaten run. What are your predictions? lymmo
Yes, Liverpool remains unbeaten at Anfield, but considering the quality we've (so far) witnessed in the EPL, it may be a matter of time before the team loses at home. Yesterday's game was a thriller, and yes, Everton is a team to watch this season!
Dwayne
Everton is an improved team this season, and James Rodriguez has fitted into the EPL perfectly. When he arrived at Goodison Park, some fans were quick to criticize him with doubts as to whether he'd adapt to English football. Liverpool's Thiago Alcantara dictated the pace in midfield, but his prowess was not enough to earn the team the full 3 points.

Liverpool's Thiago Alcantara dictated the pace in midfield, but his prowess was not enough to earn the team the full 3 points. Liverpool dominated the midfield and almost snatched the lead at Goodison Park. The VAR decision disallowing Saido Mane's goal was a marginal one. It is going to be an exciting season where the underdogs will want to prove a point.
coleman
I initially thought that Liverpool was to play host to Everton at Anfield; it turns out that the venue was Goodison Park. James Rodriguez is a good addition, though the team has to improve in midfield. I look forward to seeing how the return fixture pans out! Steve King
Everton losing to Southampton was the highlight of this past weekend, and now, fans are wondering if the team can challenge for the title. There was a lack of organization, mainly in defense. All the same, this season continues to look very competitive.
Dwayne
I had a chat with a friend this evening who predicted that an outsider would win the EPL this season. It may be too early, but some teams have shown signs of aiming for the top. The top four could end up with one new entrant.
Bill W
I had a chat with a friend this evening who predicted that an outsider would win the EPL this season. It may be too early, but some teams have shown signs of aiming for the top. The top four could end up with one new entrant. Whereas the winner of this year's EPL may not be an outsider per se, it is not going to be easy for them at all. Most teams added numbers during the transfer window, and the depth of a squad may be what makes the difference.
