Most complicated game

Games used to be harder back in the day, or so I think. Modern games have considered toning down the difficulty with the result of giving a smooth experience to as many players as possible. Ninja Gaiden II was so complicated for me, even at 'normal' difficulty.

Sad, isn't it? I've noticed the same over the years. We can't can't be challenged anymore, only placated to. The older games, at least in board form, can still be bought though.

I go back and forth on this one. Maybe games are designed to be easier now or maybe our skills have improved with age and practice, so they're just easier for us to beat. I'm not sure. Anyway, the most complicated game for me as an adult was Breath of the Wild on Switch. You just kind of had to figure it out as you went.

I think that gaming has transformed over the years, and now it is easy for a beginner to start with less tasking versions. Again, those who have been playing for a long time have gotten more experience in this way.

At first, that's sounds counter-intuitive. How can a person have more experience in gaming when they have it easy? Then you think about how much quicker they can advance because of the ease of the games and it starts to make more sense.

You are right. Back then, we didn't have various levels of difficulty. You either were good at gaming, or you weren't. You got better each day by learning newer and better ways to get past the obstacles.
