The big screen

Streaming films and TV is great, but now with the pandemic I miss going to the multiplex. I only go about once a month, but I always like catching a new release on a huge screen in a dark cool room, even buying overpriced popcorn. Do you miss it also?

Not really! It cost us close to $50 for two of us for tickets and snacks (water bottles for $5!). I love that we can watch at home. We've got a room for that! Recliners, huge TV, surround sound... comfort!

I do miss movie date nights! I wish I had a setup like Crompy. We have big screen TVs but nothing like a theater.

My favorite theater has recliners! I have a hard time staying awake!

Yes! I didn't think it would matter that much, but I miss watching new films at the cinema. It feels more special that way. Plus, the rental prices for new films is about the same as a cinema ticket. Though I suppose you'd save money if you had a whole family watching.
