I believe Jon Jones and Khabib Nurmagomedov are currently the best male mixed martial artists in the world. Khabib has a phenomenal unbeaten record, and Jones recently broke the record for most wins in the light heavyweight division. True. And it only took her 48 seconds to knock out Ronda Rousey and 51 seconds for Cris Cyborg. She's currently the best even though Cris has a superior record.

And Cyborg trained HARD against Amanda Nunes to. Supposedly it was the first time she's been knocked out in her career. Amanda Nunes doesn't get the attention she deserves in my opinion. She's a good mental fighter. I'll bet Cyborg's fighting style has improved because she had to face Nunes and that will help Cyborg in the long run.

 

Between Jon Jones and Khabib Nurmagomedov I think Jones would take it. Nurmagomedov's record looks impressive because he hasn't been fighting that long and hasn't faced many of the toughest guys. It's Jones all the way for me.
