Drones or no drones at Gatwick

As many of you know, some rogue drones were spotted about Gatwick derailing holiday travel and making a mess of things. Apparently, now there's some confusion as to whether there was a drone at all. This is madness! I pity the poor bloke and his wife who were detained for ages by the detectives, had their faces plastered all over the telly, only to find out the bloke had been at work during the attacks. I hope no one here had their holiday spoiled due to the drones - real or imagined!

I'm surprised something like that hasn't happened before whether it's in the UK, the US, or elsewhere. I'm like you though, I hope no one here had their holiday plans spoiled due to flight cancellations.

Around the time this story came up, an officer investigating the chaos came close to saying that there was a possibility of no drone being flown over the airport. I agree that no one's holiday should ever be spoiled in any such manner.
