Kickstarter Campaigns

Some campaigns look absolutely dodgy, but I've been wowed by more than a few. One that sparked my interest was a device meant to keep you from falling asleep whilst driving. However, I was leery of pledging my funds towards something that I might not get. The campaign ended ages ago and from the updates it looks like I made a good decision. If you've ever put your spare cash towards a Kickstarter campaign, how did it work out?

I got a ButterUp knife through Kickstarter. The startup sent mine fairly quickly. Good idea in theory and funny advertising, but I ended up hardly using it. I was lucky; I’ve heard of months- and even years-long waits for products.
