Guest North
You read it right. AMC announced that Andrew Lincoln would star in three new The Walking Dead movies. The production scale is just like the usual big screen movies we know, but they will air only on the TV. The filming starts next year. It seems like they are not ready to let go of the character just yet, and this may be the answer to Andrew's concerns about his family.
Guest Luna
@North You must have so many questions in your head about this, right? That teaser about Rick's leaving the show now feels like something they throw randomly to keep the viewers glued to the series. The main series has lost so much of its old charm, but the team decided to branch out even further. Are they planning to close the TV series for good this time? Guest Revenger
I would say that the show had a fair run and they should let it rest for good. The network may not have a new story to tell and that may be the reason for the show to extend up to this time.
jack25 13
It will be interesting to see what stories these movies will tell. I watched the first 3 seasons of Walking Dead and it now seems that a lot of catch up needs to be done. In some way, it would be prudent to bring this show to a halt. Well, who wouldn't have questions about this kind of decision? Instead of focusing on the current plotline which has just lost some characters, they split the story even more. I keep wondering about when they will put the TV series to rest, but I'm not sure if this is the right way. Maybe we can be more optimistic about it once we've seen some teasers or heard of more details.
