Guest milyt g. planet
Are there any artists here who like to draw or paint digitally? If so, what type of program do you like to use? Personally I like to use Photoshop, but I've heard a lot of good things about other programs like Corel Painter and PaintTool Sai. I tried PaintTool Sai, and to me the color blending is better than Photoshop, but I continue to use Photoshop almost exclusively because of its larger tool kit. It has a myriad of effects and general purpose tools that allow for a large variety of ways to experiment.
Evelyn 26
Good grief, all the real software programs are too difficult to use. I'd invest the time and money if it was my livelihood though. I like to use the website Lunapic for slight changes. It's enough for me. Have you ever tried using it?
Guest milyt g. planet
@Evelyn This is my first time hearing about Lunapic. No, I haven't tried using it. I'm going to take a look at it since I'm generally interested in browser based work stations. Yeah, some of the software programs are really pricey, but I don't find the time investment too great because everything has a how-to video on it somewhere, of course namely YouTube. Sometimes it seems like the hardest part is knowing what 'help' videos to search for. It took me awhile to learn how to use PhotoShop, but I guess that's because I took my time and usually tried to learn things myself without looking at any videos.
