Is Bray vs Orton actually a certain thing? It hasn't being technically confirmed. I expect it Orton is winning the SD battle Royal to challenge but I also think its going to be a triple treat match at WM. I would stake money that its Waytt Vs Orton Vs AJ.

What else do you do with Styles? I heard rumours of him vs Shane but please no what a waste of AJ that would be.

I'm expecting to see Luke Harper win the battle royal then we have Wyatt vs. Orton vs. Harper. Orton said he refused to face Bray at Mania for the title but maybe they will work an angle where Orton will agree to compete at Mania to protect Bray against Harper then Orton will turn on Bray during the match.

As far as AJ goes, I wouldn't be surprised to see them do Cena vs. Styles one more time at WrestleMania.

No Cena and Miz and their partners are having a mixed tag match is the rumour for Cena. So that still leaves Styles with...?

As for Harper being in the WM as a triple threat, yeah good idea but I don't think its where they are going.

So then what's the end-game with this battle royal? Surely they're not just going to have Orton out of the title picture at Mania.

Prior to Elimination Chamber, I would have guessed that Styles would have been part of the Ladder Match for the IC Title like they've been doing at Mania the last couple of years. Now it's obvious they're going with Ambrose vs. Corbin at Mania and I hope they stick with that. I could see a scenario where Corbin costs Ambrose the title to further set up the match but I think the title is essential to this feud.

Unfortunately, I get the feeling that Creative doesn't really have a plan for Styles yet. Now if they do some interpromotional matches at Mania, that might open up some options for Styles. I wouldn't mind seeing Styles in an interpromotional match against someone like Samoa Joe or Sami Zayn. WWE would be foolish to not have him on the card at all.

I don't think they'll waste Orton's Rumble win by not having him in the title match because that would render the Rumble meaningless. I think TPIB is right in that there will be a triple threat, and Harper seems like the most logical choice here considering what happened on SD.

I'm certainly not happy about the idea of a Cena/Miz mixed tag match because neither Bella nor Maryse deserve to be in the ring with two of the cornerstones for SD's success. I would rather see Cena vs Miz in a singles match.

Not only that, but from a storyline standpoint, Nikki accidentally getting powder on Maryse at Elimination Chamber is such a flimsy angle for a WrestleMania match.

Flimsy angle or not it seems to be the direction they are going in to fit the four on to Mania. Hmmm Taker still has no match so AJ , Taker ?. Who else is there? Sticking AJ in the ladder match is ok but kind of a waste of his talent. I doubt he will get Zayn as he will be in the multi man match for the spots and or the andre battle Royal.

Styles really is the odd man out right now. Really he should be champion still heading into WM. That would be the ideal scenario.

Right now I see WM as being a strange one as we just don't know what a lot of guys are doing.

What's Roman doing? And Braun? Have fast lane a double finish and rematch at WM maybe?

If Rollins isn't fit what, if anything, is HHH doing? If Samoa Joe can't have Rollins what does he do? Could Balor be back and face Joe that could work.

What are your tag matches? Which tag teams make WM and which don't? Do you leave new day off the card or Sheamus and Cesaro. Do you split up the later two and they have a match? How about SD that's probably easier Usos vs Alpha and forget the rest.

Which woman get on the show in title matches and can you do something to get the rest on.

What about Kane and Henry, just stick them in the battle Royal I guess.

Ziggler in some kind of multi man match.

Harper vs Rowan maybe?

The rest, well who knows WM already seems like it's going to be 17 hours long, counting pre show, so a lot of time filling there. Probably 10 main show matches minimum and as many as 4 or 5 pre show.

Right now from my own feeling , probable booking and rumours from news sites and such I see the card as .

Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg is a lock obviously.

Roman Reigns vs. Undertaker What else can either do?

Triple H vs. ? If not Rollins will HHH be humble enough to give up his WM spot.

Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho Pretty much a lock.

Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton Its happening the only if factor is will it be 3 or 4 way rather than singles.

John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse Yeah I just think this is where these 4 are going.

Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal Is a lock.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is on this year I assume. Have Zayn win. Pre show

AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon unfortunately this is what I think AJ gets stuck with. 2 star match with an aging part time guy.

Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax I don't see how you leave any off the show so just make it a four way.

Somoa Joe vs Finn Balor cause what else can either do?

Anderson and Gallows vs New Day vs Cesaro and Sheamus because there is little else any of them can do.

Usos vs American Alpha pre show.

Harper vs Rowan if not involved in the Orton Waytt match. Pre show .

Random SD and Raw ladder match withwhom ever mid carder you want to squeeze in. Winner gets a title shot on his show

Ambrose vs Corbin to get those two on.

Random SD woman vs Another Random SD women. That belt changes so much who knows. Probably pre show

I really want there to be a double twist with the whole Orton/Wyatt Family deal.

Have Harper win the Battle Royale and challenge Bray. Have Orton pretend like he's entering the match to "protect" Bray. During the Triple Threat at Mania Orton inevitably turns on Bray, only to find that Bray and Harper were fully prepared for it, and they've been playing Orton all along.

Harper's frustration with Orton, him losing to Orton, Bray giving Harper the Sister Abigail and shunning him from the Family, all of it has been part of Bray's masterplan to let Randy think he was in control of the situation and breaking up the Family, when in reality Bray has been pulling the strings all along.

If they could pull it off, it'd go a way towards making Bray a legitimate champion and hopefully cement him in a main event position. They could even go on to rebuild the Family afterwards. There's been lots of speculation about Sanity possibly being tied to the Wyatts, especially since Bray's changed his gear to include the symbol of chaos, which is the same symbol all over the gear worn by Sanity.

In reality it's because they get their gear made by the same person, but it could all be for the sake of consistency leading to bringing Sanity in as part of Bray's new flock?

This would be amazing and I am all for it.

In regards to the Rollins/Triple H match possibly not happening, they could potentially spin the current angle into a match between Samoa Joe and Triple H. Just look at the interview they did with Joe on RAW; he kept losing his patience whenever Cole brought up Triple H. Sure, this Joe/Triple H angle just started, but they've planted the seeds if they wanted to take the angle in a different direction. Not only that, but if Rollins/Triple H happens at Mania, that leaves a lot of questions regarding Samoa Joe's spot in the card.

Now here's a scenario to think about; As far-fetched as it may sound, what if they had a RAW Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match at Mania? It's recently been revealed by WWE that this year's Money-in-the-Bank pay-per-view will be a SmackDown LIVE exclusive pay-per-view which means that no one on RAW will have a Money-in-the-Bank briefcase. I could see them turning into a brand supremacy thing (even though they're kind of back-and-forth with having the brands feud) where RAW decides to one-up SmackDown LIVE by having a RAW-exclusive MITB Ladder Match at Mania. Like I said, it's far-fetched but I could see it happening to fill the multi-man Ladder Match requirement WWE seems to have for Mania every year.

Hello I carried the show as World champion for months. Hello can you hear me back here? (Pick either guy.)

Even reigning WWE Champion Bray Wyatt is barely visible on that poster. The layout of it looks like they almost forgot to put Bray and Jericho on there. The poster also makes it even more obvious how preferentially part-timers are treated around WrestleMania. The poster metaphorically has Vince McMahon written all over it (much like the card does).

EDIT - The Cruiserweight Title match and the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal have both been moved to the Kickoff.

That entrance ramp is HUGE! It's going to takes ages for everyone to get to the ring!

I'm surprised they didn't bring back the motorized carts they used for the Royal Rumble Match.

How is Goldberg not going to be gassed before he gets to the ring? The ramp is so long and it's reportedly quite hot in Orlando.

Hi guys, it's been a while. Both for me posting here and watching wrestling. I'm currently in a bar where we're watching this and have to say I can't believe I've missed so much wrestling in the last 12 months.

Some absolutely fantastic matches, like the surprise hardy match

disappointed in the orton vs wyatt match. got bored of the maggots etc. for someone who is meant to be one the the best ever to have two crap matches within a couple of weeks up to mania vs styles then wyatt says a lot about orton. happy to see the hardyz back but was hoping to see enzo and cass win. matt was still making references to the broken gimmick which will probably be used in court by tna. i thought goldberg vs lesnar was quite good considering it was never going to be a technical match. they used goldbergs strengths by just going all out war. reigns and taker did well bringing out the emotion with great storytelling. i was in tears at the end.

Just some random thoughts whilst watching the event:

- That first German Suplex Neville gave Aries when he landed on his neck/head :omg:

- Loved that security women running over to stop that celeb run-in during the Battle Royal just shouting 'No! No!" before the refs could pull her off

- I fully expected New Day to enter themselves into the match, hearing the Hardys music was a total holy shit moment! :lovesign:

- Kudos to Steph on taking that table dive, I don't think anyone expected it to be her to go through it.

- I felt pretty meh about the 3 Smackdown title matches

- I'm glad Lesnar got the win...and it didn't go too long.

- I'm surprised about the Taker retirement, I fully expected a Taker/Cena match at some point. Even if they wanted to do a passing of the torch to Reigns, surely they could have done Cena/Taker at Summerlsam last year?

Overall was a good show, has me looking forward to Raw tonight.

Random thoughts.

The Orton And Waytt match was boring and the effects silly.

Shane and AJ bored me at first but won me over down the stretch.

Roman beating taker might have meant something if Taker had not already lost his streak.

No Samoa Joe? Really?

SD womans buffer match existed only to cool the crowd down.

And the positive things. SD mens/womans title matches aside I liked every match.

In theory, on paper, it was a pretty neat idea (and credit for at least trying something new), but the execution wasn't up to par.

The crowd (and the home audience probably) popped for the first one, but Orton didn't really react to it at all (the ref got the fuck out of there though), which hurt things. Also, with Bray losing cleanly and so suddenly ("outta nowhere" - I know), it basically rendered it pointless.

This is where I think it does mean something because it was not about the streak any more, it hasn't been about the streak for the past three years now.

Whereas Brock beat him for the first time, Roman put him down and practically into retirement. The match itself was probably OK at best, once you realized where it was heading. Considering Reigns' appearance on RAW the next night and we'll have to see where he's heading next week, it was the right thing to do.

I like to compare it to Logan and this is soundly fitting, since the film came out a few weeks ago. Old Man Taker's "powers" were diminishing, it was like watching a horse still trying to move with a broken leg but Reigns had to put him down. Just a little shame that the Tombstone spot didn't work properly.

Other than that great Wrestlemania that went slightly downhill around the time Flo Rida appeared.

Wyatt/Orton was a big disappointment. Good build but it was just flat out boring.

I kinda liked Lesnar/Goldberg for what it was, there was nothing more to get out of the match and it even served as a kick in the arse for the crowd to wake up. And it did just that, I felt a slight resurgence, when Goldberg went for the spear and Lesnar side-stepped and hit the first German Suplex. Other than that, I didn't care for the match before it kicked off and the Universal Title picture is still in a dismal state.

As for the rest of the matches:

- Neville vs. Aries was a great opener which was kind of disrupted by a silly commercial break but oh well. Some good spots but I just feel there is little recognition going ahead for the CW Division.

- The battle royal and the winner was poorly booked. No one seemed like a big deal other than Killian Dain and I guess Mojo Rawley. But Mojo Rawley is atrocious. Braun Strowman or Sami Zayn just seemed like guys in there, the rest like even less. How the WWE can miss the chance to create something just for a story with the Gronk or whatever his name his, I don't know. Props to the security woman, who tried to do her job. :D

- Ambrose vs. Corbin was what it was.

- I hated the idea of AJ vs. Shane. AJ deserved better but I figured it was going to be a good match and it was, possibly the best of the night. It was a little sloppy at first but picked up nicely.

- Owens vs. Jericho was great. Liked it very much.

- Women's Elimination Match went to fast for my liking and felt rushed. It was OK though.

- The Ladder Match and the Hardy's surprise was good too. Not the best ladder match out there but served it's Wrestlemania purpose.

- Miz/Maryse vs. Cena/Bella is so displeasing when you see the aftermath and how so right the Miz and Maryse were. Good for Bella and Cena though but in reality, this is just for Total Divas etc. and now Bella is resting, while Cena is gone again.

- HHH vs. Rollins was a good lengthy match. I thought they'd make more of the "Unsanctioned" stipulation but I'm not complaining.

- SD Women's match was a fun 5 minute match. Great for Naomi to win the belt again, hoped for Alexa to hold on to it a little bit longer.

Other than that, fuck 7 hours of Wrestlemania. It's just too long, no one can sit through that.

Taker wanted Cena for his final match, but Vince vetoed, wanting Roman to go over,, the burial of Braun Strowman continued at mania, no reason for Mojo to win the Andre Battle Royal, Nice return for the hardy's second best match on the card, Orton/wyatt meh, both women's title matches meh, lesnar/oldberg meh, Miz/maryse should have went over but had to get that prime footage for total bellas with the cena proposal, corbin should have won I.C title, Right move keeping the cruiserweight title on Neville, he's doing some great heel work, Owen/Jericho predictable, Seth/HHH decent match, good ending with the steph table spot and HHH putting seth over, best match was aj/shane, taker/reigns who care vince's boy will continue to get put over.

I watched the event with my niece who's 6, she's obsessed with WWE. I skipped most of the talking in the preshow but she watched all the matches...she then watched all of Mania. I was expecting her to get bored, it didn't happen. As soon as it finished she asked if she could watch Fastlane as she missed a match she wanted to watch  You'd think after 6+ hours she would have had enough!

I'm surprised they've not tried putting WrestleMania on over a weekend, covering 2 days. I could see them selling out a 50-60K arena with a few big matches on each day.
