HOLY SHIT!!

I have never bought a multi-player shooter and don't play the multi-player options on first-person shooters that have it as an extra, but I will definitely be breaking the habit for this.

I'm thinking it's going to be better to give each story their own post (for ease of quoting).

The Division (a game I'm really looking forward to) will be having an open beta on XBone in December with the PS4 and PC betas to follow "some time next year".

“2K today announced the first six roster members in WWE 2K16, the forthcoming release in the flagship WWE video game franchise. Poised to offer the largest playable roster in WWE games history, WWE 2K16 will include a variety of talent, including WWE Superstars Seth Rollins™, Daniel Bryan®, Dean Ambrose™ and Bad News Barrett™, WWE Diva Paige™ and NXT® Superstar Finn Bálor™. Artwork depicting the roster members is currently on display from June 16-18, 2015 in 2K’s booth, #1001 in the South Hall, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. Additional announcements for WWE 2K16 are expected within the coming weeks.”

Microsoft announcing backwards compatability and the Minecraft Hololens demo would suggest otherwise...
The Last Guardian, Heavy Rain Remastered, SHENMUE 3 (kinda), No Man's Sky, Uncharted 4, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Street Fighter V alongside Final Fantasy 7 all cause me to lean towards the Sony side of the fence.

They're remastering Heavy Rain now? It's official, the bottom of the barrel has been hit.

I'm really interested in The Division, that looks like it could be fun. And obviously I'll be all over Last Guardian when it's released. I mean, it's not as if I've already been waiting 8 frigging years for it.

I'm hoping No Man's Sky can live up to the hype, but Sony only giving them 3 minutes is worrying. I thought we'd get to see a lot more than they showed us.

Rise of the Tomb Raider looks great, and actually has tombs, yay! I'm excited for the FFVII remake, but I can't pin all my excitement on a remake of an old PS1 game, regardless of how good it was back in the day.

I think the one announcement that genuinely had me hyped was that we're getting a new South Park game. After listening to the interviews where Matt and Trey said they were never making another game, that was a pleasant surprise.

Tech-wise, that Hololens demo blew my mind. If that is genuinely how it works, then that could well be a game changer (excuse the pun). If we're talking about technological advancement and the future of gaming, then that little Minecraft demo is winning E3 so far.
