Seth Rollins © vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will take place at Battleground. If WWE is looking to generate some ratings for RAW and Battleground, then it's certainly working for me. I'm very intrigued on how they will make Rollins seem like he is in the same league as Lesnar.

I think Owens needs the win. Especially with the US Title on the line, and Owens being the one asking for the title shot. It'd be a helluva way to bow him out of the NXT rotation and bring him up to the main roster full time. They've got to have faith in him because of the sheer smount of screen time he's getting across all shows, so now seems like a great time to have Cena finally not overcome the odds.

That would definitely be a very cool way to give him his big push. They could easily extend the program between Cena and Owens by just having this match end as some kind of no-contest. I think I'm just that used to WWE "wham-bam thankyou ma'am"-ing their way through storylines that I expected them to wrap things up with this third match.

It would definitely be better if Owens won the strap from Cena at Summerslam though, you're right.

You could play it into being Cena's bogey PPV event.

He hasn't won a match at SummerSlam since 2007 (excluding the WWE v Nexus match in 2010), so it could easily be a part of the build-up.

Considering the show takes place in St. Louis, it's weird that Randy's not on the card. Ambrose doesn't have an opponent either. They should probably put them in a match together.

They've been building Orton vs. Sheamus on TV (Except last week - Orton had been given time off).

I'm a big fan of both guys and think their matches are excellent. It's what? Fourth from the top? It's not supposed to be a fresh or original idea. It's matching up guys at the same level on the card. It's a mid-card feud at a time when one of the participants has some time off. Hopefully Sheamus is going over in the end.

I wouldn't agree that It's obvious they've no idea what to do with them. Orton's role is clear. Babyface comeback, beats his nemesis at WrestleMania, enters in a feud for the title over the next couple of months. Eventually does the job. Then it's upper mid-card babyface. Beating all the heels at his level and below except the couple of heels they want to move up into the main event picture. Turn heel again down the line.

It's too early to tell on Sheamus. He has just won the MITB. He's now feuding with a main event gatekeeper face that should put him over. His angle, you would think would be for the winter after they move on from Seth/Brock/Roman.

I just hope they don't throw him to the wolves and use his cash-in as a way to not pin Brock and/or make Reigns look strong by cashing in on him and losing. I hope they have a plan.

I haven't got a problem with either superstar they've just had a lot of memorable matches on TV

That's my point exactly. And the fact that there's no story whatsoever isn't helping either.

What are their motives, what are they fighting for? I hate you because our match ended in DQ, is lazy booking. I liked where they were going with Sheamus picking on the "little" guys but Randy's not one of them. So is he the guy that finally stands up to the bully? If so, he has to go over.

There's no story. Which proves my point that they're two guys put together just because creative has no ideas for them. I get that it's a mid-card feud but why should anyone care about their pointless match?

Your point is that they've wrestled a lot before?

This is WWE in 2015. They have a million hours of TV and PPV to fill a year and about 35 guys on the roster. Orton and Sheamus have both been on the roster together for 6 years. Of course they have?

It seems absurd to me that you're picking on the match fourth from the top (at best) of Battleground , a match that hasn't even been announced yet, in a filler program anyway but that has been further hampered by one of the participants having some time off TV scheduled, for not having a compelling story. Have you been watching everything else? Creative is terrible but this feud isn't the problem.

This feud is the big bully heel butting heads with a star babyface. Two big badasses fighting?

Roman Reigns a guy with a lot of potential, who they're supposedly grooming to be their next top superstar is having to feud with unwashed bearded weirdo who pretended to kidnap his kid?

That doesn't prove your point at all. Filler programs don't mean that the bookers don't have an idea with what they are building towards. Seth Rollins vs. Orton and Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose (post-WrestleMania) were both filler programs of guys being thrown together but creative still knew what they were doing with them. Brock wasn't coming back till SummerSlam, Seth was going to be keeping the title until then, he needs babyface opponents. Orton is there as an upper-mid-card babyface who represents a legitimate challenge but will ultimately lose.

You're confusing a lot of different facets. And you're not being asked to care about this match. It hasn't even been announced yet.
