Guest Jamster26
Well after all the praise the new dragon age game has received, and me seemingly living under a Rock as I have never even heard of the DA games, I picked up the very first Dragon Age (Origins) on the PS store for a respectable £3.00. Good so far, I can see there being a hell of a lot of replay value in this.

Guest Jamster26
Finished Murdered: Soul Suspects yesterday. Not typically a huge fan of detective / mystery games but this one was quite good, decent story behind it.
Omega 354
Far Cry 3 was a bit disappointing after a strong start and the ending choices are just a bit naff. Game was quite fun though so on with unlimiyed ammo and God mode to do the exploring. :)
dsrchris 190
Only found out a few days ago that you get a free table for Zen Pinball 2 on Xbox, so I gave that a download. It's really cool, but then I'm a sucker for pinball anyways. At the moment I've managed to rack up a high score of over 161,000,000. To put that in context, my nearest Xbox buddy would be Gringo, who's high score for that table is around the 25,000,000 - 30,000,000 mark. I'm super tempted to buy more tables for it because there's been a distinct lack of decent pinball tables in the bars and arcades I've visited over the last couple of years. Plus I need at least 1 more table if I'm gonna beat Gringo's master score! :lol
DC 536
New thread for 2015 guys :xyxDo you think it'd be worth pinning this one to the board instead of leaving the old (and closed) one pinned? ;) I'm currently playing AC: Unity and finding it enjoyable, which surprised me after the negative press the game had. The Walking Dead table is hard but the Guardians table starts with multi ball and is a lot of fun as well. Remember though, whilst you may beat my Master or Wizard score you will never... and the Gringo means ever.... defeat my Gamerscore. (Total that is, not on this one game, that might well happen). dsrchris 190
Dude, if I quit my job and started gaming professionally I doubt I'd beat your gamerscore! :lol
Guest Yodahew
Still on tomb raider but just picked up godfather 1 and 2 and la noir. Dunno which to play first. Suggestions?
King 277
Godfather series is great but I thought La Noir was overrated.
dsrchris 190
Noire is fun enough for the first couple of hours, but then it really rapidly descends into having to do the same old stuff over and over. Couldn't comment on Godfather as I haven't played either of those.
DC 536
Mafia II is an unfairly overlooked game that takes place in that era / style.

Omega 354
Double Action: Boogaloo [video=youtube;wAzqHERO23A] works off of Half Life 2 so should run on just about any PC or laptop. It's massively, stupidly fun.
dsrchris 190
Bought the South Park and Guardians of the Galaxy tables for Zen Pinball...and then crushed Gringo's high scores. I'm loving the Butters table, I think that one's my favourite.

Evil Gringo 279
Completed The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season on the X-Box One today, getting a rather easy 1000 out of 1000 Gamerscore on it in the process. Seen as Chris has been busy destroying my high scores, I decided instead to relearn how to play Killer Instinct having never really played it since downloading the free shell of the game when I got my X-Box One. Having a lot of fun but I'm wondering if they rotate the free playable character as I am getting as far as I can get really with Saberwolf at the moment. dsrchris 190
The rotate the character every months or so I think. When I first got it the free character was Jago, but I haven't played it since they day I got my One.
DC 536
I'm still playing AC: Unity, but I have Infamous: First Light, The Swapper, Strider and WWE 2K15 to break it up, along with The Evil Within and now the Resident Evil remake to follow. etz 78
I'm playing AC: Rogue at the minute. It's good and it fills in the gaps about Achilles. It's obviously the same engine as AC3 and AC4, but that engine is perfectly capable and there are some new gameplay elements.
DC 536
how is the resident evil remake DCIt's a lot of fun (nostalgia playing a big part in that) and it's just different enough from the original to warrant another play-through. Graphically, it's below next-gen standards, but it is essentially a port of a Gamecube game and is more or less a Hi-Res update of that. Crimson Heads are still a bastard though. Guest Edgehead
I'm currently playing the Resi Evil remake & I'm loving it. The original Resi is one of my all time favourite games & its been at least 10 years since I've played it. A lot of people slate the fixed camera angles but I think they really add to the atmosphere. As its already been pointed out its just different enough to make it worth playing through again while still feeling like the same game with the same gameplay.
