KURT ANGLE TURNS DOWN NEW TNA DEAL

 

- It looks like Kurt Angle’s time in TNA is coming to a close as the former TNA champion revealed to Jim Ross on his Ross Report podcast that he has turned down a new offer from TNA. Angle’s current contract expires towards the end of September and Angle said that as an active wrestler he can only see himself accepting one more deal before hanging up his boots for good. The TNA Hall of Famer has made it no secret that he would love one final run in WWE before he retires although if that actually happens is another story. Angle’s addiction problems got him fired from WWE in 2005 and those problems continued while working for TNA Wrestling as well.

Cant see him passing the WWE physical and getting cleared to wrestle there so its probably irrelevant what he wants.

I'd like to see Angle back in the WWE, maybe on a contract similar to what 'Taker, Jericho, Lesnar etc. have. I've always really liked Angle, especially as a face, and he probably still has a lot of good matches in him. His health is the most important thing though but if he was given a limited schedule that could work around any injuries and allow him time to heal, I'd be all for another run in the WWE. As has been mentioned already, he'd be a perfect surprise opponent for Rusev.

angle has responded to rumors of him passed out on a plane saying he has sober a year and its someone just being evil.and it gives him the added boost to stay clean. i would like to see him back always been a angle fan.

I don't watch TNA so I haven't seen Angle for a long time but I'd be all for having him back in WWE, always thoroughly enjoyed him back in the day.

I think TNA has been around long enough to have there own HOF, like the WWE HOF it doesn't mean anything to anyone outside there own promotion,

It's dumb as hell for TNA to have their own Hall of Fame at what, 13/14 years old? WWE didn't open theirs until '93 when Andre was inducted. TNA have no rich tapestry to even necessitate a Hall of Fame, especially when they throw in people like Sting, Team 3D and Kurt Angle who all made their names elsewhere.

Lets be honest, to the vast majority of people who were watching the WWF in 93, they may as well have been a 9 year old company because their fan base jumped on in 1984 when Hulkamania went into super nova. The fans who were watching in the 60's and 70's were long gone.

They used to film those old HOF's but I've never seen them in their entirety. They looked kinda boring though so I guess who cares.
