DC 536
Fresh from the "How long ago?" feeling in the birth of Austin 3:16 thread, it's time to feel old again as 18yrs ago today, Hulk Hogan turned heel (for the first time to the majority of fans), the New World Order were formed and US wrestling was getting set to hit the hottest period since the early Hulkamania days. Guest Edgehead
The good old days. I was 14 at the time, I remember I used to go round my mates house on a Friday night (as I hadn't got Sky) & we'd watch the first hour of Nitro, then change channel & watch Raw. DC 536
I can remember watching the odd snippet of WWE in the mid-80s, but that was just every now and again when it was taped from ITV at around 3-4am. It wasn't until WrestleMania VII appeared before me on VHS in May 1991 that I became a WWE fan. Of course, I'd watched World of Sport from the moment I could see and loved that wrestling too, but WWE was just BRIGHTER AND BIGGER!

Guest Edgehead
WrestleMania 3 was the first wrestling I ever saw. I still remember how fascinated I was by it, especially Hogan/Andre
