The following matches have been announced for the matinee show of the EBW Tramlines event:

Elite British Wrestling Championship Match: "The Real Deal" Kriss Ace © vs "The Romanian Sniper" Radu Bulat

No one can say that since winning his first EBW championship late last year, Kriss Ace has not proven to be a fighting champion, defending the belt at almost every EBW show since then. But in that same space of time, Radu Bulat has been proving himself to be amongst the most technically sound and determined members of the EBW roster with sterling performances in every match he enters. Now for the first time the champion steps into the ring to face the intensity of Bulat's challenge one on one, and the question will be answered as to if his heart and fortitude are greater than the Romanian's singularly focussed assault.

Singles Match: "Solid" John Green vs "The Original" Jacob Page

Looking to return to winning form after the spectacular implosion of his former championship winning team "The So Solid Two" and the subsequent conflict with partner "The Iceman" Sam Goodison, The Solid One will face a steep challenge in the shape of Jacob Page. Perhaps the most sound athlete on the EBW roster, Green will nevertheless have his hands full with "The Original", so named because of the unique and unpredictable nature of his in-ring style. Will this be the first step on the road to recovery for Green, or just another scalp for Page to claim?

Four Way Match: "The Demolition Man" Mikey Van Riot vs Venom vs John Doe vs Aiden Sparx

In a what promises to be a riotous match, the martial arts skills of John Doe will be pitted against the high-flying offence of the masked Venom and the fiery presence of Aiden Sparx, but could the experience of Mikey Van Riot make all the difference and tip the balance in his favour? Coming off another four-way match in which he was pitted against none other than Chris Travis, the notion of wading into a chaotic brawl is just like another day at work for the former correctional officer at Doncaster Prison.

Elite British Wrestling Tag Team Championship Match: "The Mean Machine" Mark Sanders & "The Phenomenal" Caleb Crow vs The Insane Frown Posse ©

They say that opposites attract and contrasting styles can compliment one another in the ring, but it'd be a hard thing to find two men on the EBW roster more different than the imposing near seven foot veteran Mark Sanders and the Phenomenal One, Caleb Crow. Can the power and presence of Sanderson's proven skills gel with the explosive and unpredictable aerial assaults that have made Crow one of the most exciting competitors in the EBW? They'll need to in order to have any hope of taking the belts away from the ICP duo of "The Juggernaut" Nick Mason and Russ "Thunder" Hicks, who after winning the titles by means of referee stoppage have gone on to prove their detractors wrong by defeating all challengers and establishing themselves as genuine champions who plan on holding onto the belts for quite some time.

Singles Match: "Angry" Shaun Cross vs "The Iceman" Sam Goodison

Refocused after his split from tag team partner John Green, Goodison is out to make a name for himself as a singles competitor and prove that he was the one who carried their former tandem to the tag team championship and not "The Solid One". In his way stands Shaun Cross, the outstanding aerialist who has proven himself on many occasions to be the equal of any member of the EBW roster on a given night. As sure as Goodison would like to make Cross just the first on a list of names that will come to document his ineviatble rise through the ranks in EBW, Cross will be determined to end Goodison's campaign before it starts and blaze his own trail onwards and upwards.

Doors for the event are at 1:30pm on Sunday 27th July and matches will begin at 2:00pm.

Entry is free, but all children must be accompanied by an adult.

The above matches may be subject to change.

The following matches have been announced for the evening show of the EBW Tramlines event:

(Please note that the outcome of matches on the matinee card can and will effect the nature and stakes of those on the evening card.)

Elite British Wrestling Championship Match: "The Real Deal" Kriss Ace © vs "The Iceman" Sam Goodison

If Kriss Ace thought it was tough winning the EBW title in the first place, he was in for a shock when he learned just how much touhger it would be to hold onto it afterwards. The evening card sees Ace required to enter the ring for the second time and defend the belt against Sam Goodison whilst still feeling the effects of tangling with Radu Bulat only hours beforehand. While Goodison too will be wrestling for the second time, anyone who knows "The Iceman" will tell you that fatigue won't stop him from making the most of this crack at the top prize in EBW. But should the defence in the matinee show not go his way, a deflated Ace will then be faced with the proposition of salvaging something of his tattered reputation from an Iceman filled with ire at being denied his chance to contend for the title. Either way Kriss Ace will be tested to the limit of his abilities, but will he come out on top in the end?

Flag Match - England vs Romania: "Solid" John Green vs "The Romanian Sniper" Radu Bulat

On the face of it there could not be two more dissimilar men on the EBW roster than the fan favourite John Green with his deserved reputation for sportsmanship and fair play, and Radu Bulat, who in contrast has become known for his ruthless determination to win at any cost to his adversaries. But both are ardently patriotic and willing to stand up for their own countries at the drop of a hat. For months now, Bulat has brought the Romanian flag with him to the ring and been visibly offended at what he percieves as a lack of respect for what it represents. Green, on the other hand, often bears the flag of his nation on the gear he wears in the ring itself. Now one of these proud symbols of national identity will finally be proven superior to the other thanks to the skills of its in-ring champion. Of course should Bulat prove victorious over Kriss Ace earlier in the day, he will have the EBW championship to add weight to his claims of superiority as well.

Elite British Wrestling Women's Match: Violet O'Hara vs Shax

Only the latest in a series of matches between the two, this clash may finally serve to settle the feud and provide the answer to just who is the better of the corageous O'Hara and the devious Shax. In the past Shax has used her extreme cunning and connections with the EBW Tag Team champions the Insane Frown Posse to provide a means to overcome the formidable ring-skills of her opponent. But O'Hara is sure to have learned from their previous encounters and be prepared for those same tricks and tactics this time round.

Elite British Wrestling Tag Team Championship Match: Insane Frown Posse © or "The Mean Machine" Mark Sanders & "The Phenomenal" Caleb Crow vs "Hot Blooded" Dom Black & Ryan Lee

There's no rest for the wicked, and the IFP have done their fair share of nefarious deeds in the course of their careers, so perhaps it's poetic justice that their immediate reward for a successful defence of the EBW Tag Team titles will be to step back into the ring to defend them all over again. But remember that if the match on the matinee show fails to go their way, then it'll be the newly crowned champions Mark Sanders and Caleb Crow who are then forced to immediately defend the titles they will have won only hours before. Either way, the challengers come in the form of the narcissistic tandem of EBW veteran Dom Black and his partner Ryan Lee, a relative newcomer who has already proven to be potent and every bit as obsessed with winning as Black himself. Whoever has the belts in their possession at the end of the night will rightfully be able to claim the label of most dominant team in the EBW tag ranks.

Doors for the event are at 6:30pm on Sunday 27th July and matches will begin at 7:00pm.

Entry is free, but all children must be accompanied by an adult.

The above matches may be subject to change.

So the boys and girls from EBW managed to pull of an amazing pair of shows on Sunday afternoon and evening, good enough to feature at 1:25 in of this video showing the highlights of the Tramlines Festival on the day (look out for "Mean Machine" Mark Sanders and "The Amazing" Caleb Crow as they demolish their opponents on the way to lifting the tag-team belts - in sepia, no less!):

[video=youtube;otp_Bh5Yz08]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otp_Bh5Yz08&feature=youtu.be

In some changes to the advertised card:

Rick Wildfire made his EBW debut only to be felled by the Gentleman Brawler.

Venom triumphed over "The Demolition Man" Mikey Van Riot and "Fiery" Aiden Sparks in a three-way match after John Doe mysteriously failed to make the show.

Violet O'Hara similarly was prevented from keeping her appointed date with Shax, and so "Angry" Shaun Cross stepped in to face both her and J C Miscreation in an intergender handicap match, which the pair won thanks to their nefarious ways.

"Solid" John Green and "The Iceman" Sam Goodison proved unable to restrain themselves from interfering in each others matches and costing the other a loss, and so they were thrown together in an impromptu match with Goodison's number one contendership on the line. But their mutual antipathy proved too much and both were counted out as they brawled with sponge fingers provided by spectators at ringside.

The 30 man rumble was a spectacle for the ages, with a myriad of mysterious masked grapplers appearing in the opening half to the mystification of the crowd and the appearance of "Dirtbag" Dave Stewart entering the ring to the strains of "Do the Conga" by Black Lace leading to both a temporary reunion with his former "Shake n' Vac" tag-team partner The Janitor and a conga line that took most of the wrestlers (and a good number of spectators) out of the theatre, into the lobby and back to the ring whilst a bemused group of heels looked on in despair.

Plus I won first prize in the raffle, which included free tickets to EBW Fallout 3 in September, which was nice.
