TNA could be bringing back the six-sided ring.

All week on Facebook and at http://www.impactwrestling.com, there's been a vote for which ring Impact will use for TV tapings going forward.

The poll is closed and the winning ring will be announced at 7pm tonight, which means the six-sided ring could return as soon as June 25th.

The question is whether a return to the hexagon will be a good thing or a bad thing.

Thoughts?

I'm amazed there is enough people voting on a TNA poll to make it a valid and reliable research process.

Also, omg who the hell cares.

The shape of the ring is literally the only thing that isn't wrong with TNA at the moment. The complete lack of priorities and understanding that comes from the management never fails to shock me. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but just when you think they've been as retarded as they can possibly be, nope! They get you again!

I was paraphrasing.

I get that, but there are plenty on the internet who think it's legit dangerous and are afraid another Daffney incident would happen. Except what happened with Daffney was A) She was chokeslammed to the outside of the ring through a barbed wire board and B) She was sat on by a overweight rookie who shouldn't have been in the ring in the first place.

I am amazed, AMAZED, that people still care about TNA's goofy ring. It's like caring about Barking & Dagenham's third choice away kit.

I just can't believe there are people sitting watching a TNA show going "You know what, this is a brilliant wrestling show, if only they didn't have a crappy ring..." Like, there can't be people out there still thinking that. Surely even the most die hard TNA fans can't. I'm sorry, I just don't believe it :lol

Edit: You know its Dagenham and Redbridge right Hancock? :lol

Ha! Yeah, I do. Barking and Dagenham is a specific borough rather than a team, so at least I'm not just making things up.

I know TNA has been a lot of shit recently, but from what I've seen of Slammiversary so far and last nights Impact they were a massive improvement. Oh and I hope they bring back the six sided ring.

You better tell us why, and it better be the most brilliant reason for anything ever, or I'm filing this whole ring-shape business firmly under "f*cking silliness".

Personal opinion that I liked it back in the day and I wouldn't of gotten rid of it in the first place. I know this might sound stupid but I liked the six sides of steel name and the look of it compared to TNA's current shitty cage.

Have they every done a six-sided pay-per-view? Like a one of thing? I'm assuming they haven't, because that would involve them having any idea of what interests humans.

I think the six-sided ring is a good idea if they were to have the other issues taken care of. For a casual or former wrestling fan flipping through the channels, a six sided ring is different enough to give them pause to check out what is going on. However, if the program is not good enough to draw them in, then the novelty of the six-sided ring is wasted.

You mean bring back the 6 sided ring for one night? Yeah they did a few years ago. Not sure if they ever did it again, but I remember that they did.

I watched a TNA match last night, probably from 2010 or something like that, and it made me think of what a missed opportunity the company was. At various times, TNA has been really entertaining and it's a shame that the company has deteriorated like it has. Had they just been happy to keep on making steady progress, they'd have been fine, but they went all out, signed a bunch of talent they didn't know how to utilise and have suffered badly from it. It's a shame.
