I'm hoping that Baines and Henderson are dropped and Barkley definitely starts. Would also like to see Lallana start for Welbeck. England can win this game

I can't make my mind up with this one. I flit between either side winning or a draw. In the tournament so far, England have been the more impressive, but we haven't seen Uruguay with Suarez. Still, I'm starting to lean toward a narrow England victory, or a draw with goals from both sides.

England are really suffering for me by constantly being sandwiched after the Netherlands doing well, and Spain doing badly and Germany and America games. It makes it hard for me to care as much as I want to.

I'll be honest, I think football is shit so I'd be happy with England to lose to U-R-Gay just so people take those annoying flags off their cars.

Bloody patriotism. Annoying!

Well, from both teams performances in their previous matches surely England should win, right? I mean, sure Uruguay didn't have Suarez against Costa Rica but they still had Cavani. Anyway, I guess all we can really hope for is to play similar to how we did against Italy just with better finishing. It'd also be nice to see Barkley or Lallana start and hopefully Jagielka & Cahill can handle Suarez & Cavani.

I think it'll be 2-1 in England's favour, but that might just be patriotism and my rose-tinted England goggles talking.

Too close to call for me, although I'd put England as slight favourites as they have their talisman (Rooney) fighting fit and Uruguay don't.

I wonder if Suarez will make it to half time.

Cheers!

I don't like the referee's team being Spanish speaking at all, that doesn't seem fair. Surely the referee's native language should either be the same as both teams or neither, or one side has an enormous advantage to pressure and communicate.

You have no idea how happy it makes me to know that I'm not the only person who uses Homer Simpson for his geographical pronunciations! :lol

Not half an hour in and Uruguay already have a player too many on the pitch. They're a filthy, filthy team.

EDIT: Thanks to the words "Directed By Michael Bay" during that Transformers sneak peak, Saurez is only the second least likeable person of the last hour.

England might want to rethink their strategy of;

1 - Give the ball to Baines

2 - ~MAGIC~

3 - Do stupid victory dance

It's not working.

EDIT: Well hush my gums, that's better!

If I was playing in this match, and was not on a yellow, I think I would trip Godin and then wind him up, just so he retaliates.

Cheers!

You could say that about half their team to be honest.

Liverpool sack Luis Suarez for scoring the goal that ends England's involvement in the World Cup. The Liverpool chairman states "he'll never play for this club again" :P

My Facebook is already p*ssing me off. People who have no interest in football are suddenly experts, and I just don't have the energy to argue with their piping up.

England were pretty poor overall. Some class moments from Studgy, Rooney and Hendo but these were usually followed by a moment of mediocrity. I don't think Uruguay were better than England but I do think they were more cunning.

Got to say ol' Gaz Cahill was superb.

Cheers!

England are done. Shame as again they played well. But two schoolboy errors cost you the game

England have never been out of group stage since 1958, and if Italy and Costa Rica draw tomorrow you are out. The weird thing is a see Costa Rica doing very well against you

I think if Italy do best Costa Rica tomorrow then England are going to fill their boots against them on Tuesday. However Italy and Uruguay will be the most nailed on draw you've ever seen.

Cheers!
