What's going on with rhodes bros storyline?

The partner that cody rhodes was talking about, i think that is gonna be damien sandow..im pretty sure its him with his gimmick..maybe will dress up as goldust..

Cody Rhodes keeps pairing Goldust up with different partners because Cody thinks he's the weak link. After Goldust loses every week Cody Rhodes realises that he wasn't the weak link instead it was Goldust. So Cody turns on Goldust and I guess that's your feud.

I quite like Cody, so it'll be interesting to see what happens with him. Hopefully a heel turn on Goldust and then after beating him at Summerslam, he can get a decent push as a singles wrestler.

Cody is good and WWE will persist with another push but in the few years since his last one younger better performers have left him behind and taken his place

Anything that happens in this storyline is just postponing the inevitable until they release Goldust from his contract and send Cody on yet another doomed singles push.

Regarding Cody Rhodes performing as Stardust, the plan is that if the angle gets over, they will get a WWE Tag Team Title shot at SummerSlam. If it doesn't get over, WWE changes course and we finally get the Goldust vs. Cody Rhodes singles match at SummerSlam.

 

I think it's going the Goldust vs. Cody route. Cody is doing the Stardust thing for a few weeks and will eventually turn on Goldy and show him or say how ridiculous the whole gold/black face paint and costume is.

The most interesting part to me, creative voyeur that I am, is how WWE judges whether or not something's over in this day and age. What's over right now? The Shield, Evolution, the Wyatts sometimes, depending on the town, Cena gets a reaction if that counts... erm...

I think you'll find they're chanting "Cena's spunk", referring to his plucky fighting courage, and his never-say-die attitude.

I must have been hit hard on the back of the head and not noticed, as for a second there, I actually wondered if there was something to be said for ending the Goldust/Stardust thing with both of the Rhodes brothers ditching the face-paint and just teaming as Dustin and Cody Rhodes...

 

...but now the moment has passed, and I just think they'll release the pair of them.

He wouldn't, and WWE would rather lose a collective nut than do it. I just had a strange vision of them trying to push him as Dustin Runnels in the here and now.

To be fair, Goldust stopped be Goldust a long time ago. It's not really a gimmick anymore, he's just Dustin Runnels in make up, he doesn't talk, or behave, or even really move like Goldust. The current gimmick is that he's bulk-standard Dustin Runnels who likes to wear gold make up when he wrestles.
