ViciousPrism 177
TNA House Show from yesterday. 5 mins before bell time. You can literally count the people.
Guest John Hancock
I love that they still insist on keeping the ground level seats and the bleachers separate when there's about six people in the whole show.
King 277
TNA House Show from yesterday. 5 mins before bell time. You can literally count the people. Christ!! Round that off at 200 people, ECW when they were really in the shitter were drawing way more than that, that's just embarrassing.
GENE 86
Comments That Don't Require Their Own Thread 2014 TNA deserve to get shitty crowds, everything good or positive they have going for them they ruin it every single time. It really annoys me as I'm a TNA fan have been since the days of Fox Sports and I want them to succeed, but they get what they deserve. dsrchris 190
Man, I feel bad for Spud. He's took this big risk of moving out to the US to wrestle in front of fewer people than some of the UK indies were drawing back home.
Guest Jack
It's sad to see TNA the way they are now. I occasionally get recommended TNA clips on YouTube and the company looks so, so bad at the moment. Hopefully they go out of business soon and the new Jarrett company gets their best talent and possibly TV deal.
The Fury 65
Random News 2014 For those interested and for the kind person that wants to post the picture as I'm on my phone, tna's latest house show in Bowie MD drew between 100-300 fans
ViciousPrism 177
Was that the one on a baseball field? Looked so sad. Then I remembered it was TNA and laughed heartily.
Guest The Beltster
Its quite the piece of business when everybody at the show is in the front row.
Guest Matt Black
God... I go to local shows in my home city and there are more people in the crowd on a regular basis. I'm not even going to take the piss, it's too tragic for that, especially when you consider that this is supposed to the #2 promotion in the US today. Guest Magic
It's that Baseball one... It looks as if me and my mate have put a show on down the local park. And we'd still have drawn more fans.
DC 536
At least for this run of tapings, things are looking up. http://i62.tinypic.com/xnu9sh.jpg
Guest John Hancock
That's the Hammerstein right? As I've said about wrestling attendances in London, be it London or be it New York, anyone can fill a house in a triple-alpha city. Any attendance less than that would have stunning. ViciousPrism 177
Apparently the episode they're taping tonight with the reunion of the Hardys sold out first. Odd. Also, for a supposed "smart" crowd, allegedly they no-sold Muta. Bizarre.
Guest The Beltster
Hammerstein looks great there, they could do alot worse than base themselves there in NY in Hammerstein and the Manhattan Center.
TPIB 62
Wow. I knew TNA were in poor shape, but I didn't know things were quite this bad for them. Is TNA getting outsold by ROH at this point?
Guest John Hancock
Wow. I knew TNA were in poor shape, but I didn't know things were quite this bad for them. Is TNA getting outsold by ROH at this point? It's getting close, although it's not really a fair comparison in this sense because most of these laughable attendances are from house shows or, at the very least, T.V. tapings. RoH pretty much only does pay-per-view but still, if you compare RoH pay-per-view attendances to TNA pay-per-view attendances, it's virtually a dead heat. RoH's May super-shows with New Japan drew 1500 in Toronto and 3000 in New York (I still use the rule that New York shouldn't be counted toward attendance trends, because it's too unusually easy to sell there). TNA didn't have a May per-per-view, but, in their April one, they drew 1400 in Orlando, and the pay-per-view before that got 1500 in Miami. GENE 86
I'm sure TNA drew about 2500 for Slammiversery this month.
