Guest Ciaran The King
This is something you do not want to miss! A stunning Saturday of sport is still going as Carl Froch and George Groves go face-to-face with no holds barred - even a week before they walk into the ring. The bitter rivalrly has got the nation watching again, but will the young upstart still get up the experienced champions nose by simply sharing the same room? Will it be even more heated this time? Well you've already seen the handshake and shove, but you will see another side between the two, so will you change your mind? There's only one way to find out! Guest dpddave
I can't stand either of these two muppets, Groves in particular.
Evil Gringo 279
Groves is annoying me slightly more in the build up to this one then Froch but only just. I loved when they did the sit down interview, Groves tries to be a d**k at the handshake and pull Froch over and then gets his face planted into the table when Froch returns the favour. What a set of t*ts.
King 277
I thought the build up to the first fight was better, but I'm hoping for a Froch win as I just can't stand Groves anymore.
dsrchris 190
They're both bell ends, but this cracked me up: [video=youtube;KfKVfNEcEOo]
Guest Jack
[video=youtube;k04cQbsBph0] I'm really looking forward to this fight. I went to the first and had a fantastic time and I expect the second to live up to the hype and deliver again. I fancied Froch for the first bout and even after being outclassed in the first 5 rounds or so, I said in the arena that I fancied him to get the stoppage because of how Groves was tiring and that obviously came true, albeit in controversial circumstances. This time, I expect Froch to box better, smarter and stop Groves legitimately and uncontroversially in around 10 rounds.
Guest Ciaran The King
The gloves of sit down on Sky was electric, Groves is a nut and Froch was as cool as. Riveting stuff
Guest Magic
Froch to knock him out in 8, 9 or 10.
Guest Jack
[video=youtube;0EpDdf3My6c] Live weigh-in :xyx War Froch!!
dsrchris 190
Is it bad that I want Groves to win, just because I think he's been waaay more entertaining in the build up?
Guest RVC
I think Groves will win on points. He talks about an early ko but couldn't do it last time even though he hit froch with all but the kitchen sink and was starting to gas before the stoppage. This time he will hit and move whilst not expending too much energy. He is a better boxer than froch so why risk losing a shootout when he doesn't need to. King 277
Froch to win by KO for me, I just think he will come out all guns blazing and knock him out in the 8th round.
Guest Ciaran The King
I think Groves will do it...again. Although he's looking crazy as of late the kid's got something to prove and I think he'll prove Froch wrong tonight. Not long to go, should be amazing plus De Gale on the undercard
Guest Jack
Pretty good undercard so far, especially the Mitchell stoppage. He did very well to come back from being outboxed. Terrible stoppage in the DeGale fight. Gonzales was hurt but should have been allowed to carry on.
Evil Gringo 279
Ouch, Groves might get his jaw back in line sometime next week after that right hand. Great combo by Froch to get the win in what easily his worse round of the night. Some people might be annoyed that the ref didn't bother to do a ten count but Groves was out of it with his leg bent beneath him and Froch would have just swarmed and finished him if he'd answered the count. DeGale v Froch next given the results of tonight's undercard.
Guest Jack
Quality punch! What a great shot that was. I'm delighted to see Froch win and I can't wait for the DeGale bout.
Guest Magic
Boom! Froch in 8 at 16/1. Lovely.
Evil Gringo 279
How much did that net you? Have to say Groves only got going later on, right after that left hand in the 7th that rocked Froch a little and all of a sudden his movement was better, he was telegraphing his punches less and it looked like he was frustrating Froch and build momentum... Then Froch just channelled all of that frustration and anger into one big bang. Good to see Groves show a little class at the end once he got his sense back and hopefully that should teach him not to be such a little a**-clown next time. The Fury 65
Never wanted a guy to get knocked out so bad. Groves got exactly what he deserved. Mouthy little p***k Froch will retire once he gets his Las Vegas fight. Likely against Chavez jr
King 277
Froch to win by KO for me, I just think he will come out all guns blazing and knock him out in the 8th round. Yep :)
Guest Ciaran The King
Really good main event and undercard. Concerning Groves/Froch never saw that KO coming at all, I really thought Groves was coming into his own in the last few rounds
