Is Watching "Total Divas" Acceptable Behaviour For A Grown Man?

I don't know it because I've never watched it and never will. It's bullshit and how some of you have embraced it and fawn over it I'll never know.

I've actually watched it. It's not good. I would never watch it with other people in the same room, but, if I did, I'd imagine they would tell you I was subconsciously cringing the entire time.

I take infinitely more joy from it than any episode of Raw.

 

But then I love MTV style bullsh*t reality TV shows. They're my guilty pleasure. Total Divas, America's Next Top Model, Anything that ends in "shore". I recently watched one called "Are You The One?" and I am currently watching one called "Ex on the Beach."

I don't mind the various shores, at least they're charismatic. Total Divas, for me, is just on the wrong side of scripted. It's too silly, it's like The Only Way Is Essex, or Made In Chelsea, or, for our American viewers, The Hills or Keeping Up With the Kardashians. It's the sign of a bad puppet show when you find yourself being distracted by the strings.

Don't get me wrong, Magic, I would never judge you by what kind of television you watch, I've just never been a fan of reality tv in any capacity.

I don't care for any of the four you mentioned as yes, I agree they are on the wrong side of scripted for my tastes. But I guess I just don't notice it with Total Divas. Towie and Made in Chelsea though for example, Stevie Wonder with ear plugs in would still see that it was scripted.

 

Having said that, Sam Fairs from Towie is lovely and I quite like Ollie from Made In Chelsea. Big Brother (another show that has won me over recently) has warmed me to those two despite me not liking their respective shows.

In my opinion, its awful, and I hate how they've integrated those storylines into matches, like that thing about the painting.. but I just think the acting is absolute garbage, like any reality show... although I do love legends house

Watching the entire season 2 of Total Divas today as my friend transferred it on to DVD and posted it out to me. Finally getting the chance to catch up now. :xyx

I'd say its unacceptable for anybody to watch such crap, man, woman or child.

 

'Reality' TV is the lowest of the low when it comes to entertainment. My Mrs watches all these sorts of shows. Housewives, a show about the most pretentious, stuck up, arrogant and unlikeable bitches on the Earth. Another one about people who go to old storage lockers and buy peoples old smelly junk. One with a pawn shop where its so blatantly scripted its ridiculous. One about a bunch of awful parents who push their very young children into being dancers while they get screamed at by a big fat bitch for being useless. I mean, it goes on and on, and not a single one of these shows isn't scripted and completely impossible to believe.

 

Unrealistic garbage chock full of assholes. Horrible.

I'm on episode five at the mo, with another six to go (hopefully get through them by 9pm/10pm so I can watch IMPACT WRESTLING). Sure it's scripted, but I'm still enjoying it.

I think it's also the case that the Divas can't act, which therefore makes the show extra cheesy
