How do I post pictures?

I'm new to the whole internet forum thing and i don't know much about scripting or whatnot, so i'm probably missing something really obvious, but how do I post pictures to a reply to a thread?

 

Every time i try and post a pic it tells me to link a URL, is there an easy way to upload one from my PC or does it have to be uploaded somewhere on the internet?

You'll need to upload any photos from your PC to the internet. This can be to facebook, or to an image hosting site like imageshack, photobucket etc. Then just right click and copy image URL then past it into your post with the image tags!
