Guest Iceman000
Hi everyone! This is my first post. I was just so upset about the result of the shield vs evolution. I know the shield is an athlethic group especially seth rollins. But cmon, evolution, triple h, batista, randy orton..everybody is former wwe champs. The shield are new comers. And roman reigns doesnt even know how to wrestle. If you can notice, if its tag team, mostly its the tag team partner, that works the most. Then roman reigns just finishes with his superman punch and spear. Anyway, just an opinion.
etz 78
The Shield have pretty much single-handedly made the tag team division relevant again and they're as over as can be. Nothing wrong with Evolution, but HHH is part time, Bootista sucks balls and always has, and Randy is generic boring guy no. 5 these days. They should be staring at the lights. There's nothing wrong with any of the Shield work either. Half the roster would give a testicle to hit a spear as well as Reigns does. dsrchris 190
The main reason Reigns doesn't do much is probably because they're saving him for the big push later. They're selling him as a destroyer during matches, so they naturally just have him come in to clean house at the end. Just look at how it took all of Evolution's finishers to keep him down the other night. They're grooming Reigns for big things. That's not to say Dean and Seth won't get big things to do too, I just think the company are more confident in their abilities to be the workhorses of the matches so far, and they keep Reigns in reserve so as not to overexpose him. Guest BeorimJ
When it comes to general athleticism i do not think Reigns is anywhere behind Rollins and Ambrose. He might not be exactly as technical, but time will help with that, since i think he shows great potential (looking at his spear and the rest of the moves he has done, including his FCW and NXT times before being in The Shield)

The opposing team (especially if they are heels) do everything they can to keep the biggest and / or strongest out of the match, but eventually the beaten down face makes the tag and the "power guy" cleans house. Guest fattyfudge
In my opinion, the Shield have been the most entertaining faction in recent years... Seth Rollins has unbelievable wrestling ability and I love how Dean Ambrose has really come into his own developing this character with a few screws loose. Roman Reigns seems to have the two moves of death but he's still great to watch! They cut great promos and their match with evolution at extreme rules was outstanding! I like Randy Orton and HHH but you can pretty much call me a shield fanboy
Guest Iceman000
Almost everyone here believe in the shield. Im not doubting shield's capabilities. I was even excited during the shield vs wyatt storyline. But I just think that evolution should've won the match so it wont look staged, you know. Anyway, Roman reigns spear, in my opinion has the worst spear next to big show. But I think he'll do more once shield breaks up and i can't wait for that. I wanna see their individual capabilities. Guest Edgehead
But I just think that evolution should've won the match so it wont look staged, you know. I don't understand that, why does the shield winning make it look staged?? Anyway I love The Shield & they are by far my favourite thing on the roster right now. When they were teasing the split a few months ago I was dreading it & I was over the moon when they turned them face instead. Ambrose is my personal favourite although Roman Reigns is clearly the one they're grooming for big things. Hopefully its a while yet before they split, theres still plenty of life left in them. I believe in The Shield!! :lol

dsrchris 190
They're actually building Reigns' Spear into a big deal, but in a really subtle way. I know it's only a little thing, but when he missed his spear the other night and OBLITERATED the ring steps was a nice little touch for me. Usually the steps don't move too much when folks hit them, but Reigns sent them flying, which really hammered home that his Spear is supposed to be SUPER powerful. Like, if it does that to the ring steps when he hits them, imagine what it does to a person.
Guest Ciaran The King
I can't believe we are having to justify how good the Shield are, it's been obvious since Survivor Series 2012. Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins will all be future tag team, IC and World champions, they will be future main eventers for the next 10-15 years
dsrchris 190
It's not justifying how good they are, we're discussing their merits between a bunch of people with differing opinions of them. It's kind of the whole point of the forum! Incidentally though, I cannot think of a single bad thing The Shield have been involved with since their debut, and that's pretty staggering when you think about it. Guest Iceman000
Yeah, i know its the start of the new generation. Oh well, i just think that it will still be evolution vs shield on the next pay per view and i hope evolution wins this time considering the fact that evolution is composed of former wwe champions. And i think that will add a spice on their storyline. Not to mention, ambrose was a united states champion too for almost a year. Can anybody tell me how many times did he defend the title? Anyway, i just dont like it when they always win. Just like you people who hates john cena *** he always win before.
Maxximus 353
He defended it a few times against Kofi didn't he? That's the last I remember anyway.
