Guest Will O the Wisp
I would so endorse Captain Spaulding beating some shit out of Willow though. What is wrong (or right) with Willow? Honest question as I have not seen much of this rendition of the character.

Oh I like the look, just all this jibberish only Jeff Hardy understands. Besides Captain Spaulding selling chicken would be some laugh... Guest Jamster26
I like it, personally. Basically it is a more wild version of Jeff Hardy who acts crazy.
ViciousPrism 177
And this is different from regular Jeff Hardy how?
Guest Jamster26
Have a look on Youtube or something at some clips and you'll see.
ViciousPrism 177
I'd rather have the cliffnotes version than be subjected to actually watching TNA.
Guest John Hancock
The Willow angle is a really strange one for me, because Jeff Hardy's such a big name, and TNA have such a boner for big names, yet they've taken a guy who was, at a time, an actual draw for them, and repackaged him as someone no one recognises. Shaun2J 127
They actually do still refer him to Jeff Hardy but I'm not so sure Tenay/Taz or Jeff Hardy for that matter have explained the change in his persona.
Guest John Hancock
Is meth a good enough reason? Lots and lots of meth? Given TNA's boner for just out of date T.V. show references, I'm AMAZED they never did anything Breaking Bad-y with Jeff Hardy. It would have been perfect. Guest Magic
I watched about 2 minutes of youtube clips on him, because I'd never seen him as Willow before, and I'm kinda just like.. er.. What's the point? Like we all know its Jeff Hardy, the commentators openly refer to him as Jeff Hardy's alter ego. It's just a bit naff. Guest Jamster26
My only issue is that he still does the same moves as before. Would have liked to have seen a few different moves thrown in, maybe a different finishing move or something.
DC 536
I was talking about this the other day and compared it to the Three Faces of Foley in regards to what it's trying to achieve, but the fact that he is just blatantly Jeff Hardy in a mask rather than a different character with different moves and mannerisms just means there is no real reason for it. I mean, with Mankind, Cactus Jack and Dude Love, you have three different characters who talked differently, acted differently and were considered separate entities rather than just Mick Foley in a mask / Mick Foley going "Bang Bang" / Mick Foley in tie-dye. Sure, they shared moves, but even when doing the same moves, they seemed to be executed in a different way.
Guest fattyfudge
i like the laugh, plus Jeff Hardy is awesome in general
Guest FreeSpirit
Jeff Hardy's New Character: "Willow" Apart from Dixie, Willow is one of the things that really fu*ks me off about TNA at the mo. The gimmick is horrible, the laugh and the weird voice are so annoying and for me it's one step forward, two steps back for Hardy.
Guest pheadley
i think hardy is better on the mic. he seems to have more confidence when hes playing a character.
Guest Jamster26
Like I mentioned before, would have been nice to have seen a different finisher from him. If we want to use an example, when AJ Styles was in his "No One" character, where he didn't like anyone, he changed his style. He was less of a high-flyer, more of a beat you down with the occasional high move thrown in. He also had a different finisher, called the calf-killer which looked painful and made you think that this is a different more serious version of AJ Styles.
