Guest dpddave
Apparently people who have seen the seating plan for the next PPV are saying they've left enough room for 2 rings...
Guest John Hancock
That would be Battleground in July. It's most likely just the lay out of the arena, but, yeah, on the seating chart for Battleground, the ringside area is weirdly massive. ย This is the seating plan for Battleground; ย http://cdn1.vox-cdn.com/imported_assets/2171539/54666s_medium.gifย For comparison, this is RAW; ย http://cdn1.vox-cdn.com/imported_assets/2171545/36859s_medium.gifย And this is Payback; ย http://cdn1.vox-cdn.com/imported_assets/2171551/53831s_medium.gifย And this is what happens if you copy and paste the ring on the Battleground one; ย http://cdn0.vox-cdn.com/imported_assets/2171557/Xe3a5CW.pngย It's possible, but it's a very, very tight squeeze, look at the left side of the left-most ring, the corners almost tough the guard rail. ย I'm a skeptic. Guest Magic
Battleground seems like a logical place to do it. Have Evolution win at Payback, and then bam, the only way to decide who's truly the best, War Games for the decider. It could make sense, and be damn awesome.ย However, Batista is scheduled to disappear and I have major doubts WWE would use the match in this day and age, so for those reasons I'm also a skeptic. King 277
A PG WarGames would suck.
Guest Ciaran The King
I believe it will happen, it's one gimmick WWE can profit from that they haven't diluted
Omega 354
I know it isn't going to happen but.... Evolution V Shield in a War Games match?ย Called it... well apart from the bit where I said it won;t happen but still...
Guest RatedR
A PG WarGames would suck.ย Exactly. A War Games in 2014 probably wouldn't live up to many people's expectations. Even the Hell in a Cell nowadays is just another regular match which happens to have the ring surrounded by a cell that is barely ever used. So what makes people think a War Games would be any better? Sure, Evolution and The Shield are great workers to say the least and I think they will definitely put on a good match, but the limitations are probably going to prevent them from having a memorable classic. Omega 354
Meh, you can all be Debbie Downers if you like, I'd be happy to see something different in wrestling.... even if it's just something that hasn't been done for a while.ย Unless it's Judy Bagwell on a pole, I can live without that. Guest John Hancock
Oh shit, I think you're onto something, all that extra space isn't for another ring, it's for the Judy Bagwell forklift!
ViciousPrism 177
What if they do Wargames, but inside an Elimination Chamber cage?
Guest John Hancock
That seems like the logical compromise to me, I was surprised they didn't do it in February.

Guest RatedR
What if they do Wargames, but inside an Elimination Chamber cage?ย That would certainly be interesting. I remember people suggesting something similar during the Wyatt Family vs. Shield storyline, but it obviously didn't happen. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Kam 243
From Wrestling 101:ย When Vince McMahon purchased the rights to World Championship Wrestling, he secured more than just the tape library of Nitro and a handful of under-contract midcard talents. He also secured the rights to every specialty event, show, and match concept. In mid-2001, not only were fans envisioning matches like Sting vs Rock or Goldberg vs Austin, but expectations were also high for a Starrcade show featuring Ric Flair and Kurt Angle, or a Clash of the Champions with Rey Mysterio vs Jeff Hardy. People were envisioning how โWorld War IIIโ would work with talent from WWF, WCW as well as ECW. But more than anything, the one WCW match that people were giddy about seeing on WWF TV was โWar Games.โย > WWE: Why WarGames makes sense, now more than ever
