terrythunk
Agreed, if the streak ever did end and that's a massive if it would probably be Cena. I can't see Cena wrestling for another 3 years. He isn't the future of the company. he is banged up now, he's only getting older...

So you think that Cena (36) can't be wrestling in three years in the context of talking about a match versus The Undertaker (48)?
Maxximus
Cena's gonna be around longer than three years and he'll be involved with the wwe, in one way or another for the rest of his life.
The Beltster
he'll be involved with the wwe, in one way or another for the rest of his life.Well I dunno about that, nobody knows what the future brings. He wouldnt be the first big WWE star to fall out of favour with WWE when his run is over or when he outlives his usefulness.
Omega
I think it's more likely these days than before when there was real competition and bad blood between companies. If Jeff Freaking Hardy gets more than one chance then Cena can probably clean his c*ck on Vinces drapes at this point.
Jimmy Redman
Also, Cena is devoted to the company and nothing else to an almost scary degree. He's not going anywhere as long as he's healthy, and if he isn't, he'll become the GM or some shit. I mean, Mark Henry at 40 just re-signed for three years (I think). The Beltster
I'm not saying he wont but nobody can tell me that they didnt think Hulk Hogan was a WWF lifer in the 80's when he and Vince were snorting lines of cocaine off each others c*cks. Jimmy Redman
Yeah, I'm not saying that something unexpected can't happen, but even in the 80s did you ever get the sense that Hogan was devoted so unquestionably to the company like Cena is? Hogan has always been more about being devoted to himself, and not in a bad way, I'm just saying that's what he is and was. There was life for Hogan outside of the company with movies and TV vehicles and whatever. Whereas by comparison it seems like Cena wouldn't even entertain leaving to do something else. The company is his life, in a way that it wasn't Hogan's.

I was like, 8 though :lol Hey, Cena might be different if WWE wasnt the only game in town. If there were other thriving places to work, maybe alot of these guys wouldnt be so 'loyal' to Vince. Jimmy Redman
Sure. The thing about Cena (and this entire generation really) is that we'll almost surely never know what would happen if they had a choice.
etz
Having said that, Cena does have a choice, in as much as he doesn't have to do all the extra stuff that he does, he chooses to do it. That's not something you do when you're disaffected or unhappy.
The Beltster
I'm sure he has pressure on him to do that stuff to a degree and there are days he would prefer to be anywhere but at work. Cena is making as much money doing as much stuff as possible while he can, he's no fool.

The Beltster
Hey, you can be the richest wrestler in the world and lose it all in no time. Cena doesnt do everything for the love of WWE, come on. He does it because he makes a ton of cash. If he did it for the love of WWE, he'd be happy working for free right? Right. I bet he'd be pissy if he only made $5 million this year instead of $6 million, lets not act like this guy is doing this for the sole reason of loving it. Oh, hell no, but I was thinking of all the extra shit that he doesn't get paid for, and there are always plenty of those when you're in Cena's position. King
As much as I don't like Cena the wrestler, you can't fault the guy for his charity work. Edited September 30, 2013 by King
Drake
I agree. Cena may be dislikable for his annoying in-ring persona, but you get the feeling that in real life he's a good guy. The complete opposite of a **** like C.M Punk, were you know he's a complete and utter douchebag in real life.

Magic
Everything I've seen of Punk outside of WWE TV leads me to the conclusion that I would rather be his friends than John Cena's. He's seems like more my type of guy. No homo.
dsrchris
Yep. Punk seems like the kind of guy who'll tell you to your face if he doesn't like you, but if you're his friend, then you're a friend til the end.
John Hancock
Tragically, everyone on this site is way more likely to get on with Cena than Punk, mostly due to Punk hating everyone, including you.
