Lay off the deck shoes guys! Pretty much lived in my Vans Deck Shoes with invisible sock (f*ck no socks) with either below the knee shorts or tapered jeans slightly turned up.

But fully agree with the chinos being shit. A night out in town is just full of c*nts wearing overly tight chinos, vests with massive "V"s and quiffs worth a punch in the face.

I don't get the new thing about low socks and turns ups either. Grown men flashing their ankles like slutty Victorians, it's really weird, no one want's to see men's ankles. It's impossible to look tough or even really serious as a person with a little three inch flash of dainty ankles.

EDIT: For clarification, I'm specifically referring to this bullshit;

AND STOP WEARING OLD FASHIONED HATS.

Well if we're doing this thread we have to have this song posted:

I am definitely not talk about the 1D crap trousers I thought chinos were almost linen like comfortable almost suit like trousers. Not the crap pictured above.

I'm on the same page as you Laf. True Chinos are awesome. I propose we rename modern day Chinos to "C*ntaloons" or some such sh*t and claim our beloved Chinos back. Well dressed gentlemen of the world unite!

I like the old fashioned hats, pity my funny shaped head means I can only fit baseball caps or wooly hats.

Last time I was in London I got a pair of Fly London shoes for £90 which I love and find to be well worth the cash as I struggle to find shoes I can get on too.

No joggers out in public I hope? Trackies are fine for wearing around the house, nobody wants to sit on the couch at home in jeans, but dont wear them out in public.

Oh yes. The second I get through a door, the jeans are off, and the elasticated pyjamas are going on, even if I know I'm going to have to get changed to go back out again later. I have a very clear line between outside clothes and inside clothes, and there's virtually no crossover at all.

This is me exactly. Pants, jeans, trousers whatever, as soon as I'm home it's straight to the pajama type pants.

Same, has to be that way unless you want to fall directly into Chav territory and at that point, you may as well just tuck them into your socks and be done with it.

At home its loose waist trackies or those retro style 'Lounge Pant' (not plural! Pant) they sell in cheapo places like Primark with He-Man or something 80's printed all over them. I cant wear jeans in the house, especially not with a belt.

I do the same with my jeans when I'm home. Usually put on a pair of football shorts or my adidas trackies. Never been a fan of the cotton jogger type things though, my tackies are polyester.

I bare no ill will to indoor tracksuit bottoms, but I always go with good old cotton or whatever they are pyjama pants, either nice thick plaid ones for the cold, or thin usually comic book themed ones for when it's hot.

I'll tend to be black skinny jeans, with a pair of shoes similar to these:

I recently had a mahongy pair that I loved, but they've gotten a bit wrecked and I'm back to black ones just now.

The most recent "fashion" purchase I made was a sweet suit for my cousin's wedding:

She let me wear it with a nice pair of white and maroon Nikes that worked well with it. Like I said, I'm a sucker for a vintage old man suit. :lol

I have my "life uniform":

Monday-Friday, 8am to 6pm

Other than preferring v-necks, this is what I wear to work, in varying colours, all mix-n-matchable.

6pm to 8am, every day

TIL that jeans are not considered comfortable pants. :?

Man my dressing habits are so backwards from everyone else that I don't know where to start.

Work is a tucked in polo or button up shirt with a belt, slacks, and dress shoes.

Non-work in public is a untucked t-shirt or polo with a belt, jeans (boot cut or relaxed fit) or shorts (no jorts), and tennis shoes.

Non-work at home is the same as non-work in public.

Work out is a minimal shirt if any and athletic shorts and tennis shoes.

At bed time I am a minimalist. I will leave it at that.

I've manged to train myself to have to wear a watch of some kind unless I am sleeping. Oh, and I never EEEEEEEVVVVVVEEEERRRR wear socks that show above my tennis shoes.

Sorry for all of the non-European words for clothing. I think I understand about half of the clothing terms that have been thrown out thus far. :lol

My every day comfy shoes are adidas Gazelle OG's. They are 70's retro and are so flippin comfy its not even funny. I've got them in black, grey, blue and wine. I've never known shoes as comfy. They also go with almost anything! Love my OG's.

What Nike's are they? I have some low top Bruins and they look kinda similar, the Bruins look great but they feel a bit clumpy but I think thats just because the Gazelles feel like you're wearing socks. Nike low top Blazers are nice too. I love all the retro crap.
