Guest Ciaran The King
Good Raw. Still loving the whole Bryan/Corporate story line. The Big Show stuff was good and the ending was brilliant. Orton/Rhodes was good and Cody's speech was terrific
Guest Jimmy Redman
Anyway, totally agree that there could have been something better than the stock market mess thing but I guess the issue is that technically he could go to another wrestling company so the whole "WWE is the only place I can use my freakishness" is a bit stupid in itself as well. You need the financial thing somehwre to justify why ONLY the WWE. Not really, since in WWE Logic, there is WWE, which is the major leagues, and everything else is "wrestling in high school gyms", with no in between. TNA and New Japan level stuff doesn't exist in this storyline. It's WWE or nothing, in their minds, which is another reason why they are able to hold the entire roster hostage by threatening to fire them. Bryan is the only weirdo who wouldn't care. Omega 354
If that's the case (and I do disagree but it's such a minor point) then yes, the stock market thing is pointless if they;re already ignoring other real life factors.

Guest Jimmy Redman
Yeah it's a minor thing and not really worth quibbling over. All I'm saying is that using the broke angle was lazy to me. They've been generally pretty good with character motivation across the board otherwise, I didn't need that. On another note, I think one of the real positives about this angle is that they are basically rounding up all the midcard babyfaces who have zero traction as babyfaces - Dolph, Miz, Cody, even PTP - and are having the Corporation bully the sh*t out of them to possibly get them some sympathy. Like, look at where Cody Rhodes is now compared to three days ago. Miz being bullied on Smackdown was the most likeable he has ever been since Brock ate him alive. And Dolph's stupid pinballing and endless jobbing actually serves a purpose if he is being cheapshotted and ganged up on. Assuming they dont sh*t the bed I think a lot of these kinds of guys will be much better off for this, not just Bryan and Show.

Guest Edgehead
Cody Rhodes really was the best he's ever been. When he hit the Cross Rhodes I really thought "holy s**t he's gonna go over Orton!" :lol I hope he does well when he returns

We've spent ages waiting for WWE to try and make some new star babyfaces, and now they're trying to hedge their bets by pushing them all at the same time. I'm all for it. It's just kind of annoying that this just shows that WWE can book a great angle when they apply themselves, they just seem to be happy to fob us off with dross most of the time. Guest Jimmy Redman
Rhodes was never going over even if he was staying Is it OK for Cody to job to Orton on TV now that Orton is a heel and thus is allowed to win matches without you freaking out? DC 536
I loved Edge spoiling his own announcement on the Twitter feed. :lol Also, as I said somewhere before, I can see a Survivor Series match taking shape with the way this is going. I can see it being The Shield, Orton & Ryback v Show, Cody, Miz, Dolph and Bryan or The Shield, Orton & Big Show (forced into it) v Cody, Miz, Dolph, Bryan & TBA (maybe Kofi or a returning John Cena). Guest Ciaran The King
Survivor Series is a long way off yet, I wanna see how they are gonna get Cody reinstated first
Omega 354
I hope that if there is going to be a traditional SS tyle match Bryan isn't involved in it directly. He needs to be kept separate form that and remain on his "quest" to get the world title, presumably he's got to go through Hunter at some point. Guest Ciaran The King
I too wanna see a traditional SS for once. It has big potential this year. Not sure about Bryan/Hunter, when's it gonna happen because when it does it will be highly anticipated

You'd assume if we're talking about November that something has happened between now and then to screw Bryan out of the title picture to prolong his chase. He doesn't need to be in a title match at Survivor Series. In fact he shouldn't be in one again after NoC until he's going to actually win it. If they are doing a SS match for this angle then Bryan leading the band of rebels against the Corporation makes the most sense. It would almost be weird if he wasn't a part of it. dsrchris 190
Bryan's winning the rumble, then winning the strap at Mania XXX. It has to happen.

So wrong. :P Bryan shouldn't be drafted in the head up something because, a bit like Punk, h's better off as the lone wolf. I'd love the idea that whilst all the other guys backstage are joining together to band against the MCMahons Daniel is still just seething and solely focused on the title and I think you can sway him from that path somewhat with a mini-feud with Trips making him one of a band of "favourites" does him no favours. Having a team with guys like Cody, Dolph etc is all good and should happen but Bryan needs this to be HIS path, he can be a rallying point maybe, the reason why the other guys say enough is enough but I think they need to keep him separate and make his journey and story special and about him. dsrchris 190
I see it going down that Bryan's on the team, and it ends up with all faces but Bryan being eliminated and he has to try and survive his way through 4 or 5 members of the Corporate team coming at him. Which he does. I think just something simple like that would set him up nicely for a rumble win, and begin the fight back against the big bad corporation. Guest Ciaran The King
I can see a SS 2003 HBK inspired performance from Bryan.
Guest Jimmy Redman
I was about to say that this would be a good a time as any to re-do Team Austin vs Team Bischoff. Bryan making the epic Bryan comeback for all time only for whoever is playing the role of Batista to run in and ruin it would be just...devastating. In the nicest possible way.
