DC 536
The "Random News and Comments" thread gets this every now and again, but because of how good a PS+ subscription is and the regularity of top-level games being available for free (well, the subscription cost aside), a thread devoted to it seems appropriate. At present, these are the games that are available for free for PS3-: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning The Cave Catherine Demon's Souls Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Malicious inFAMOUS 2 The Lord of the Rings: War in the North MotorStorm Apocalypse LittleBigPlanet 2 In the coming weeks, LBP2, inFAMOUS 2 and MotorStorm are being removed, which is a big deal as they have been on the list since the Instant Game Collection was introduced. In their place, we will be getting Uncharted 3, XCOM and LittleBigPlanet Karting. In addition to the Instant Game Collection, there are also games that have discounts for PS+ subscribers, meaning the amount of games I've personally downloaded for free far, far exceeds the cost for being a member. I genuinely can't recommend the service enough.
etz 78
Agreed, it'd be amazing value even if it was 3 times the price.

Fletch 204
Xbox can suck it. 40 quid better spent on PS+ than Live. So many top rate games all for free. Ie already got Payday, but Uncharted, Catherine, Battlefield, XCOM, LBP Karting, Saints Row 3 and Shadow Of The Collosus are worth my money alone
ViciousPrism 177
Next month for PS3: Spec Ops: The Line, Mafia II and Need For Speed: Most Wanted. PSV: Lego LOTR and When Vikings Attack. Suck it, M$.

DC 536
Mafia II was a great game to play and left me genuinely bummed-out (in the right way) at the ending. Next month, Assassin's Creed III is the big freebie.

DC 536
I'm not buying a Vita. Ever. Not even when the new Vita TV is eventually launched in the UK? From what I've read so far, I'll be seriously looking at this for both the Vita gaming and the streaming of a PS4 to a different room in the house.
