Review @ Wrestling 101

 

WrestleMania is, and always will be, the biggest wrestling show in the history of the business. From its inception in 1985 to the current trend for large stadiums (every ‘Mania since 2007 has had more than 70,000 in attendance), WrestleMania has been the pinnacle of professional wrestling, the one show where everybody wants on the card and the one show where your career can be made in a single moment.

 

This, the twenty-eighth edition of the most important wrestling show on the planet, was about one thing and one thing only; THE ROCK v JOHN CENA.

 

Of course, there were other great matches on the card, but after one year in the making, the world would be on the edge of their seats to find out if the match could live up to the hype, to find out if The Rock could still hang in the main-event of the big show and to find out if The Rock could do what Hulk Hogan failed to do ten years earlier and defeat the company centrepiece in the middle of the ring.

 

WrestleMania, my dear friends, was about to become ELECTRIFYING!!… again.
