John Hancock
Man, I've seen NOTHING critics liked this year! I'm going to see Django and Les Mis next week, but, as of right now, I haven't seen a single one of the nominated films in any category. Anime Otaku
Would be surprised if The Avengers hasn't been nominated for some techie stuff
The Fury
it has for best visual effects. It's a very wide open oscars this year, with the exception of daniel day lewis, who is going to win the best actor award again because he is that damn good. 4 of the best picture films aren't out yet here (les miserables tomorrow and django next week and lincoln 2 weeks time and zero dark thirty not a scooby)
John Hancock
Did The Imposter get anything for best documentary? That might have been my film of the year.

John Hancock
Boo! Silly Oscars. The three new movies I really enjoyed last year were Dark Knight Rises, The Imposter and Frankenweenie, and I doubt any of them will get anything important, so shut it Academy, you are irrelevant. BRM
Saw The Impossible last weekend, seeing Les Mis tommorow night and finally seeing Lincoln when it's released over here at the end of the month.
Maxximus
Lincoln wasn't terrible, but it was POWERFUL slow. I fell asleep watching it about an hour in, woke up maybe a half hour later and they were still sat there talking about the same thing. Brutal...
