I kind of accidentally watched the the first episode of that New Girl program on 4 with Zooey Descanel and I found it pleasantly amusing, more than I thought it would be.

I really enjoyed it. It went overbearingly saccharine for a while at the end of the episode, but other than that I thought it was cool.

Anthony Worrall Thompson arrested for shoplifting cheese from Tesco. He should be mature enough now to admit guilt.

The 60-year-old said: 'I am so sorry for all my recent stupid and irresponsible actions; I am of course devastated for my family and friends, whom I've let down and will seek the treatment that is clearly needed.

'I am not the first, and I certainly won't be the last person to do something without rhyme or reason - what went through my head, only time will tell.

'Of course, I must also apologise sincerely to Tesco, with whom I'm had a long and genuine working relationship, and to all the staff at the Henley branch, many of whom I've got to know over the years.

'Once again, I am so sorry and hopefully in the future I can make amends.'

Worrall Thompson was arrested on suspicion of theft on Friday after he was caught misusing a self-scanning check-out in Oxfordshire.

According to The Sun, a camera had been set up after staff spotted the former I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! contestant scanning some items but slipping others into bags without paying for them.

It is believed that the TV chef - whose restaurant business has been hit by the recession - dodged some of his shopping costs on five separate occasions in just 16 days.

A source told newspaper: 'He was ordering blocks of cheese at the deli counter, taking bottles of wine, then putting some things through the scanner but walking out with the rest.

'They caught him on camera doing it more than once, but had to be 100 per cent sure it was not a genuine mistake before apprehending him. Because of his high profile, the security staff could not afford to get it wrong.'

A Thames Valley Police spokesman added: 'Thames Valley Police arrested a 60-year-old man from High Wycombe following a report of shoplifting offences in Tesco, Reading Road, Henley-on-Thames.

'The man has been issued with a formal caution for these offences.'

Sherlock Season 3 confirmed by the Moff

Excellent news, really enjoyed Season 2.

SPOILER ALERT (seriously, if you haven't watched last night's then do NOT read this)

I really hope that Moriarty isn't dead though. He's easily my favourite villain in anything from recent memory. It's not like they couldn't have some way of him surviving shooting himself in the head, right?

Well

they did agree that their canon would be roughly as has been established in the past, and Moriarty did die in the story that one was based on. But we can hope they change their minds. Shame they wasted Adler as she could have been a good villain if used right.
