Guest Jamster26
WWE creative have pitched the idea of reviving The Nexus with Wade Barrett returning as the leader. Rumor is that if it happens, the Nexus is expected to make a return just in time for the Royal Rumble. Credit: PWinsider So they destroy the group, pretty much and now they want to bring it back again? Not sure if it would have the same impact as last time, think the hype around the group is dead. How would you see it? Would it propel Barrett back to the top, into main events?

Guest Jack
What exactly happened with Nexus? I wasn't watching wrestling when they disbanded. Seemed a strange choice, anyway, as I thought they looked good.
Maxximus 353
So will this be The New New Nexus or The New Old Nexus or just The Nexus?
Guest Jimmy Redman
What exactly happened with Nexus? I wasn't watching wrestling when they disbanded. Seemed a strange choice, anyway, as I thought they looked good. They came in, did the Nexus thing, attacked everyone, looked good. The first major mistake was them losing the Nexus vs WWE match at Summerslam, with Cena tapping Barrett. It picked up again when Barrett beat Cena and forced him into Nexus, but they ended up doing Barrett vs Orton main events with Cena involvement that had super lame finishes, resulting in Cena being "fired" without ever leaving and he ended up "re-hired" and blew off his feud with Barrett by the next PPV. Thats when the main Nexus thing ended. In January, Barrett took the better guys and went to Smackdown to be the Corre, which went nowhere. CM Punk led the sh*tty ones as the New Nexus on Raw and kept feuding with Cena for another month or so through the Rumble, and then Orton through April. They had a tag title shot on PPV after that but they were pretty much done, and it was quietly dropped when Punk started the Punk angle. But the main thing was 2010. They split up the first time because they buggered it up, basically. So no, no New New Nexus. You dont need to keep bringing it back, you needed to have just done it right the first time. Guest Ciaran The King
The Nexus ended because WWE didn't have the guts to push and evolve young talent. As Jimmy said the Summerslam match was a big mistake, they should have gone over clean any looked dominant while doing it.
Guest BratSan
I don't think Nexus can be redeemed now no matter how hot they revive them. For me, their angle has died a horrible death at Summer Slam. But yes, if Mick returns to be their Man Friday and unleashes them on anything and everything in sight, then I would be interested. Also, I want Otunga and Slater to get the f*ck out this time. But since they have already turned Gabriel face, I don't see how they plan to do it. Even if they do, it's not going to happen in next few months atleast.

Maxximus 353
Where did the Mick Foley leadership idea come from?
Guest Dante Spears
Possibly the belief that Mick Foley was the RAW general manager and that the Raw GM favoured Nexus.
