Guest Jamster26
Thanks Shaun. Nice interview with Punk there. Does anybody else agree, that they should seriously change Christians; theme song? It's just to face - like, I think. I love the song but doesn't suit him as a heel, I don't think. Something like this would be better I think, or he could go back to the female version of "Close Your Eyes" [video=youtube;otB6To0eToA]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otB6To0eToA&feature=related

Or better yet just make him face then. He's not a great heel and the fans don't much care for it either. He's a great face so I am not sure why he's doing this in the first place

He's a great face so I am not sure why he's doing this in the first place As a heel, he did ok way back with Trish and Tomko, feuding with Jericho. More recently, he did well till his DQ win over Orton. He lost a bit of shine thereon.
Omega 354
Personally for me it's that Christian is an excellent heel and has shown he can be but Orton just isn't really the right face for him to go up against. Orton just isn't likeable enough for me to make me dislike Christian.
Guest Jimmy Redman
Christian was a great heel in 2005. Nowadays, he's alright but the problem is more the booking and the fact that he went from feelgood veteran babyface comes good to whining chickensh*t heel who cant win a match. And his performance as a heel hasnt been good enough to overcome that. Michelle McCool wrote the following on Twitter yesterday: "Enough laziness...after 4 mos "off," tomorrow I will once again become..... FLAWLESS!!! Not that I lost it - (@ExcuseMeWWE inspires me!)" Diva Dirt wrote to McCool and told her not to play with their emotions. She replied: "whatsoever would you be talking about?!? I'd nevvvvver play with yalls emotions...REAL TALK!!!" I love it how its completely obvious that she means she's going to get back in shape, and yet every website has to go with "Michelle teasing her WRESTLING COMEBACK!" and will no doubt bury her for it. I don't think "cowardly" type heels gain much crediiblity in the long run, with regards to title reigns. Although, that could be wide off the mark. I agree with Omega too. If Christian had the punk role, feuding with Cena, it would have made a better feud. Not that the Christian / Orton rivalry hasn't bee great, because it has. It's a shock they even pushed Christian on Smackdown, so a feud with Cena on Raw would never happen, they had the chance in 2005(I think) and looked what happened. Guest Jimmy Redman
No way in hell Christian works better in Punk's spot. Its a completely different feud without Punk in that role, it was based around his real life contract situation, his personality and indy gimmick, his interviews, and MITB was in Chicago. No way in hell. On 2005, its a shame he never got a singles match with Cena out of it. The feud was ridiculously fun, as was the three-way actually (underrated match), but it could indeed have been more for him. But he ended up gone within months anyhow, so thats how that goes. Guest Jamster26
Oh no, I didn't mean the exact feud. I just meant in the same position, upper midcare / main event on Raw, if you get me.
Guest Jimmy Redman
Nah. I love Christian but he doesnt have nearly as much ME potential as Punk, at this point.
Guest Suphix
But he COULD have and that's the mosdt frustrating thing. I really really don't like him in the cowardly heel role, because he has had a LOT of credability in the past but more often than not these roles undo them. He does make a good pure heel, as per circa 2005 but he makes a much better face than the heel he is now, in my not-so-humble opinion
Guest Jamster26
I think it's a crime against Wrestling, that he's never really been given the right push, despitehis title reigns on Smackdown.
Maxximus 353
I think it's a crime against Wrestling :lol Just so we're clear, I'm not picking on you or anything, I genuinely found that funny.

Guest Ciaran The King
Christian is great as a heel or face. But either way he never wins with the office

Guest BratSan
But either way he never wins with the office ....Or lacks the ability to sell merch and put a*sses in them seats. Dont get me wrong, I am a fan of his work. I really am. But he just doesn't have the X-Factor to be that top guy with a longer run.
