Guest Jamster26
I'm probably in the minority here but I'm really excited about it. I mean, prior to the last couple of months ending with Victory road, I was really enjoying Jeff Hardys' TV stuff. His work as a face was great, and when he turned heel, he played it like a violin, the new gimmick. It was fun and interesting. I was sceptical about it as first but he proved me wrong. It appears they are going to turn this, on the back of his return, into a gigantic face push I would have thought. Based around him getting the respect back? A redemption kind of thing? I'm not sure what people's opinions are on Wrestling companies using real - life situations, as catalysts for a story / segment. But how do you feel about this and with Hardy coming back? Are you looking forward to seeing him back in the ring? I guess this is his last shot. Hopefully he can put this all behind him and get focused on wrestling again. So really, what I'm asking is: Is it right to use real-life situations as part of wrestling programming? What direction do you think they'll go? Who do you think Hardy will feud with? etc And of course, are you looking forward to seeing Hardy back in the ring?
Guest The GS
TNA bringing back a guy who hasn't done any rehab to overcome the addictions that got him fired in the first place is stupid. What's also stupid is from what I read, TNA having him end the go-home show for their next PPV the day he got handed a prison sentence. Both Hardy's are the same and come up with any excuse for a second chance. Matt Hardy for example recently stated his fake suicide video has intended to mean his full-time wrestling career was over even though the dates he posted were his birth and upcoming death date. When the awkwardness of having Jeff back goes and when people start to trust him again he'll **** up again. I'd give him a maximum of 14 months before he ****s up. TNA are really struggling and are clearly so desperate that they're putting a guy's life in danger. Jeff has shown he can't cope with even the TNA schedule yet Bischoff or whoever made the decision are happy to bring him back as they know they can get the big money contract renewals they want if they can show an increase in house show attendances, etc during their time in charge there. Guest FreeSpirit
Jeff Hardy Is Back. What Are Your Thoughts? Simple: How long till he screws up again. Far too much of a liability for me to have any faith in him.
Guest Jimmy Redman
Yeah, after the last time he was on TV. bringing him back without him having done a single thing to fix the problems he had, just because they wanted to pop a rating, is a pretty low-percentage play. Especially the timing given all of Matt's recent problems and Jeff himself getting sentenced on the same day. I certainly wouldnt be surprised in the least if something else goes wrong with him soon. But, having said that, I hope not because when the guy is actually on, he's great. Problem is, there's pretty much nothing in TNA to force him to straighten up and do a job. Guest Suphix
It's kinda sad to see the chances he's been given and not capitalized on. there has been and still are a LOT of people bending over backwards for him, yet he is one step away from being the jobless guy that most Indy promotions wouldn't touch with a barge pole. It's honestly a shame, because the help is obviously right there and if he took it and used it, his life and his general attitude would be much improved. I just hope that sometime VERY soon he has an epiphany and gets his shit together. The people extending their hands now probably aren't going to keep doing it if they're constantly spat at. Another thing I have wondered is how the other TNA talent take this? People like AJ, Roode, Sting (debatable with his contract) and the rest of the solid workers feel about this whole thing. Now matter how shite the overall product is there are still a lot of great wrestlers working their asses off and I can't imagine them being too thrilled about his behaviour. I digress. I just hope he sorts himself out now, who would have thought not so long ago that Matt would be the one to go completely off the rails (his last few videos, and that retarded suicide-explanation crap are embarrassingly shallow) but Jeff in all reality is in the same place, and arguably worse off. If he's not willing to accept the help then he's not accepting the problem, if he's not accepting the problem I don't think there's a lot of hope. As I said, real shame. At the top of his game he is amazing to watch, when he's not off making crap sculptures or making even worse music. If you don't want the help no one is going to change your mind, people will soon get fed up of it regardless of how much money he brings in, which I imagine is also on the decline. If I could give some advice to Jeff it would be this. "Son, give your head a shake and get your shit together. Open your eyes and look at what you've got". Both Hardys need an eye opener and obviously various accidents and lawsuits aren't enough. Shame.
Omega 354
His "return" promo was awful, not that I really expected anything else. He's not been a star for what he can do for a long time so I don't care if he comes back or not.
Guest Keegan
It's interesting. Whether he deserves it or not is a different argument altogether. He's one of the biggest names in wrestling today, regardless of perception, so I can understand wanting to bring him back. I'd be on his case from the get-go if I were in a senior position within TNA.
Guest BratSan
Me thinks, Jeff is gonna screw this opportunity up sooner than later. I hope and pray to GOD, he doesn't. But he will eventually. As Suphix correctly pointed out, he has had his share of chances and had hell lot of support than he deserved to, but he couldn't care less and was always indifferent to his problems. I personally feel, TNA should have put down some ground rules for him and force him to some sort of rehab, so that he could get his shit together and come back a changed man. Alas, that boat has sailed, I guess. He is just a walking bomb, who could detonate any moment now.

Wishful thinking, others say.
