Tonight's episode of WWE RAW takes place from Ottowa, Canada. On Monday morning, WWE champion Alberto Del Rio appeared on a local radio station to promote the show.

 

Del Rio was asked if he will be wrestling tonight - and he responded that he will be doing a segment tonight with WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart and it "may come to fisticuffs".

 

As reported over the weekend, Bret Hart and Trish Stratus are being advertised for Tuesday's SmackDown tapings, but Bret has not been officially announced for RAW.

I'm kind of tired of seeing Bret Hart show up on television. It seems like they play that card too much, so to speak.

That last segment with Punk was magic. Cutting off the mics is a genius move. Loved it. Rest of the show was gash however.

I don't know if my television was airing he same programme as you, but to me HHH came off as more righteous in that particular promo. Punk blasting him with his "pipe-bomb" when Hunter was just trying to help did him no favor either, in kayfabeland.

Yeah but in Kayfabeland (is that just down the block from DudleyVille? A couple of towns over from Parts Unknown? :P) Punk has no intention of trusting anything Hunter says. And why would you? For years people have watched HHH be "the Cerebral Asassin", and manipulate and control people to his own end.

 

If anything it makes more sense that regardless of what Trippers is doing/offering Punk's gonna be all "thanks, but no thanks, I know what kind of shenanigans you get up to, douche".

Man, this was a verbal botchfest show. Bret Hart should never again be handed a mic, he can't even tell the difference between the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship.

And is it me or did I hear a Ric Flair line in the HHH video package?

 

But the stuff at the end between Hunter and Punk was awesome.

Best bit of the show. I always loved it when HHH got into an opponents face and goes all deep voice and angry face, and for some reason I still do.

No I think Savage was finished with the biz, the only reason to return would have been for the HOF. Which of course would have never happened while he was alive.

I do agree with Ciaran though, Brett needs to go away and stay away for good. The man is fragile at best, can't deliver decent promos now. There is nothing he needs to prove anymore. Just walk away an enigma.

Even in Canada tagging with Bret Fn' Hart he still got booed. Cena's a lost cause as far as ever getting over with the over 12's.

Pride doesn't get you a nice cheque for for putting a sharpshooter on a comedy character. It's not as if he joined the Kiss my Ass club or anything. He was trying to get Cena some cheers, it didn't work. Who cares?

I thought the show was poor. The ending segment was better but to be honest, it was just really bad. WWE always do this, stick Cena with a Legend in their own backyard to try and get the fans onside and its crap. It doesn't work.

 

WWE has been good for a few months but I hope this isn't another case of "same old, same old."
