Omega 354
"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Kevin Nash as of Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. We wish Kevin the best in all future endeavors." Not really surprising after nixing Nash/Punk. I guess Nash is either too broken to do the match or was unhappy with the decisions made for him by creative.
Guest John Hancock
I know he failed a medical for the match, which is why that got canceled, but I'm not convinced this isn't a work. Last I heard, the plan is to give him time to heal and then do Nash/Punk as the blow off to the Punk feud rather than Trips/Punk. Omega 354
Just read the raw results and you're right, with everything else that's gone on it's got work written all over it especially if the whole Mr Future Endeavour thing does become Laurinitis and he bigs up firing Nash next week. Then Nash comes back, as you say, more healed and ready to do something.
Guest BratSan
It might not be work though. Nash doesn't really look in shape to work any kind of match. Carrying him is like carrying a dead monkey on your back at this point if you don't have any road agent work for him. But all being said, it CAN be all work. So let's see. Guest Frank Botch
To set the record straight, I passed physical w/ flying colors. Cardiologist was amazed at my lipid profile. Couldn't reach financial terms. I will not be addressing this matter again. I am moving forward with my life. Cena, it was great having the chance to get to know you. It's a shoot. There is no lying on Twitter.
Guest Jimmy Redman
They also dont announce worked firings in the shoot manner on the website. I think either something has legit gone wrong, or its one of those Daniel Bryan, fire you but bring you back later ones. Who knows.
Guest Dante Spears
Yeah but they are in "Work the internet mode"

Omega 354
Or Oz... I still think it's going to be a work. I don't think you really go through the trouble of on screen firing a guy and then future endeavour them. It's not WWE's way. For me you fire them on screen so if people don't read WWE.com or dirt sheets they understand Nash is gone then to "work the internet" they post the comment knowing it'll be picked up and discussed. The reason for it I think is Nash's health, there's been multiple reports that Punk/HHH was meant to happen much farther down the line. So as has been said Nash gets time to really get match fit and come back into the angle later on (probably on the other side, so on Punk or Cena's side). I'm sceptical that Nash wasn't getting the money he wanted given he'd done some work already.
Guest BratSan
There is more to it than meets the eye. If Nash's twitter post is to be believed, he may really be gone for good. But yeah, I see him coming back as Diesel, ala Bryan style.
Shaun2J 127
- As noted before, Kevin Nash's "release" that was announced earlier today is all part of what's happening on TV. The release was announced to play off the major deal that John Laurinaitis signed Nash to on RAW. The reason for Nash's exit from the WWE storylines is because Nash has booked a movie role, likely the same one that he is dieting for. Word is that the people behind the movie didn't want to insure Nash for filming while he was working as a pro wrestler. Nash will likely stay gone until he is done filming the movie. No word yet if this will affect any of his independent dates. Source: PWInsider So it's a work but you already know that.
Guest Dante Spears
Yeah. Nash doesn't have a talent contract, he has a WWE Legends contract and when was the last time you saw someone announced for being released from on of those. He was given a talent contract in kayfabe so his release from it is in kayfabe as well.

Guest Black Knight
Like, he just came back. But maybe it's part of the storyline between Triple H and Punk. This wouldn't be the first time WWE.com has mislead us.
Maxximus 353
Punk did say good luck in all your future endeavors to Nash at the end of that segment.

Guest robbyblade
I'm betting on Nash appearing at Night of Champions and costing Triple H the match against Punk. That seems like the only way I can see them booking Punk over Triple H, sadly.
Maxximus 353
And then what, is Trips gonna feud with Nash? Who the hell wants to see that in 2011?
dsrchris 190
Yeah, if Nash turns up it's way more likely that he'll cost Punk the match.

Guest Jimmy Redman
Wasn't the Cuntwaffle a branch of the Germany Military in World War II? I'm quoting this because I cant rep you. A billion, trillion stars. On the subject, I just honestly hope something has gone wrong with Nash. I never need to see him again after how sh*tty he's been on Raw. Never need to see him again.
