I hear it's coming out as part of a special bundle: The Alan Wake/Duke Nukem Forever Double Pack.

Seriously though, it does look absolutly excellent and as it's made by the same blokes behind Max Payne it's sure to have an incredible storyline and atmosphere, which is just super. Hopefully it shall be worth the very long wait!

The "author has writer's block, goes to quiet location and then strange shit happens" plot reminds me a lot of The Dark Half by Stephen King.

The first House was great, second one not so much (mainly because it leant to much towards comedy), but the third one is vastly overlooked and under-appreciated.

Was House 3 the one with the talking pizza and the dude who was strapped into the electric chair and claimed it only gave him a hardon? Or was that House 4? Was there even a House 4?

Yeah, House III has the guy with the electric chair (he was called Max something) and there was a fourth in the series, but I haven't seen it.

Silent Hill 2 is definitely the benchmark for the horror genre of video games.

 

The original was good but this one just had a glorious dark tone to it with the same touch of the bizarre like the first.

 

The storytelling in Silent Hill 2 is up there with the best video games ever made in that category.

The first was okay I guess, but it needed work. Did Shattered Memories screw up the first game or improve it?
