I was having a look around the TNA website and I saw that they're selling tickets for Slammiversary 2009 in Detroit for $7. That sounds like a helluva good deal for those who can get to the city on that date.

ok this is scary they give discounts to fans after the wwes failure to get the area now this (its almost like their a bussiness who wants to survive)

Have people pay for it is better than papering it, its like the cheap flights as it cost the same to fly the plane you might as well have it full even if the tickets are cheaper

I am becoming more and more convinced that Kelly Kelly is really going to turn into something special. She's incredibly attractive, she's already solidly over, she is athletic and can handle moves better than most noobs, she bumps like a champ, and she's so young that she has years upon years to get better.

 

The only problem is that she cant talk or act her way out of a paper bag. But I suppose there's plenty of time for that.

I do like Kelly Kelly though. Mostly because she's the most attractive female wrestler I might have ever seen, but it's also because she seems like she... you know... gives a sh*t, which in this day and age, is something of a rarity.

 

Also, I like that TNA banner poster thingy. Normally, I really hate TNA's artwork, but I really like that one. A Raw crowd in the Impact Zone might, however, be absolutely hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

Wouldn't really call her a noob, she's been on TV for three years now and probably trained a while before being called up too. She's got age on her side, wasn't she like 18 when she started on ECW?

 

She does seem to be above the average Diva, also I gotta admit that I was shocked when she pulled off that backflip into an armdrag thing off the rope.

She started wrestling Layla on ECW in maybe mid 2007 at the earliest, so she's been going for about 2 years. On the contrary I dont think she was training for THAT long before she started wrestling on TV, as those early matches can attest. But I do see your point.

 

I was generally meaning 'noob' as in this sort of new class of non-wrestling-trained girls (Kelly, Layla, Michelle, Maria, Candice, etc.) who have come in in recent years and basically just picked it up. Her and Michelle seem physically to have by far the most potential.

 

She's also the only one of them who can do a huricanrana properly.

I like Kelly Kelly, and a couple of years ago I said she would be really good (in fact I compared her to an early Trish... I think it was a mixed tag match where she teamed with Balls), but the last 2 weeks I have watched Raw and she has botched multiple moves each show. Not good, not good at all.

Thats only because she's wrestling Maryse. Now this isnt me criticising Maryse, mind. They're both now decent and Kelly is getting quite good, especially in a bumping around for Beth type way, but she's not yet at the stage where she can work well with someone less experienced than her. Like Maryse.

 

Oh Lordy, even I am tired of debating the merits of the Divas. Please lets not.

How come all of their matches are shite then? Theres about 5 on that list that actually learned how to wrestle properly, that doesn't mean they do it well. The rest are eye candy for men that think 1970's playboy pinups are the ideal woman, i.e Vince.

They're not all that bad. Granted some of them aren't that great but Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Mickie James and Gail Kim are okay in the ring. Yes some are eye candy for the guys but you can't have the same 4 wrestling each other all the time. Why don't you just say you can't stand the Diva's and be done with it? I mean it's pretty obvious you don't think much of them, so saying it over and over again becomes redundant.

I am watching Jeff jarretts dvd, i forgot just how good he is and how many great matches in TNA he had. He is very underrated.

 

Also i found a positive for LOD basically doing sod all inside the ring, they could do the same matches with the same quality even in 2003

 

edit: i think i prefer mickie james as raven's lackie in terms of looks rather than bimbo james look
