Guest Dave7g
I'm almost terified, have any of you actually SEEN the match, or as I suspect you are voting for it out of spite. Can I have reasons why this match is better than any of the others?

Guest Dave7g
WWE has a poll on the best Great American Bash match of the decade. At first, among the three choices was an Undertaker vs. Khali match that never happened. It's since been switched to the match that did happen, Taker vs. Show in a Punjabi Prison match. I thought that was among the candidates for the worst Great American Bash match of the decade. Wrestling Observer. Hey, I'm not alone here. This is the same match where the big scary monster extreme hardcore animal Big Show, was crying in the ring before it. That alone grants it it's place among the turds of wrestling. wyndorf 389
I voted for the Punjabi Prison match between the Undertaker and the Big Show. I really liked this match, the Prison was huge and was used in ways I could never ever have imagined. Although I was very unhappy that the Big Show replaced the Great Khali, I think the Big Show done a fantastic job. He looked so athletic in the match. The Undertaker was good too, I was happy when the Undertaker won the match. I think they should have all matches in the Punjabi Prison. DC 536
I'm almost terified, have any of you actually SEEN the match, or as I suspect you are voting for it out of spite. And isn't it possible that the same thing was happening on the official voting too? But of course, you can't think like that, because the WWE poll is rigged, yet your poll, which is yielding a similar result is clean as a whistle. Can I have reasons why this match is better than any of the others?I actually do prefer the Punjabi Prison Match to those listed, mainly due to being a sucker for overblown cage matches. I enjoyed the PPM, and felt the gimmick could be used again. I especially liked the use of the four doors that are only open for a minute when asked, then closed for good. Guest FreeSpirit
Eddie Vs JBL for me. What a great match that was, almost as good as there bloodbath the month before.
Dead Crow 370
I voted for Eddie/JBL, as I suspect most smarks on a smark website would. That's why this thread proves f*** all. WWE.com isn't a smark website by any stretch of the imagination, and smarks are so out of touch with what marks like, it's not even funny. Naitch 207
Must be a slow news day if this has spread over two threads. So, either there are a number of people who think that it is the best GAB match of the decade or WWE rigs their polls. Either way, slow news day and no one really cares. In reality, the answer is JBL-Eddie because their two PPV title matches are in the top 5 best title matches on PPV in the last 3 or 4 years. But then again, I remember the matches, a number of others don't. But yeah...whatever...um...yeah. That was worth a post....... Guest Craig
Eddie vs JBL would have been so much better if it was in a Punjabi Prison. Just think about it, Eddie jumping off the top of the inner cage for a Frog Splash through a table with DEADLY WEAPONS on top of it. And then JBL could do a CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL but miss and knock down one of the walls because his CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL is devastating like that. And then Eddie could have bled all over the bamboo sticks and then blood could drip down off of them. And then JBL could rent a big panda to eat a whole into the outer cage for him, so he could get out, but then Eddie could go all LIE CHEAT AND STEAL and steal the panda and make him eat a hole for him and then Eddie could win and jump into the lowrider and him and the panda could celebrate and it would be great and it'd be a moment we'd remember for the rest of our lives. If only this had happened. That panda could have been bigger than Hogan, brother.
Guest Sean69
i liked Eddie Guerrero vs JBL match but when it came to WrestleMania 22 it had to be Shawn Michaels vs Vince McMahon (sorry) :)
Guest The Franchise
The best of the GAB? The best matches of the GAB was back when only the NWA/WCW had it in its grasp. Now? The GAB is a joke.:info7:

DC 536
I actual agree with a post from The Franchise. I think I'm going to have a lie down. But, once again, Franchise has failed to actually read the thread title and has took it upon himself to go on another rose-tinted nostalgia trip. Everyone knows that the WWE bash cannot compare to the originals, which is why both WWE and Dave asked about this decade's versions.
Guest The Franchise
Rose-tinted nostalgia trip? Tell me how you really feel D.C. But, once again, Franchise has failed to actually read the thread title and has took it upon himself to go on another rose-tinted nostalgia trip. Everyone knows that the WWE bash cannot compare to the originals, which is why both WWE and Dave asked about this decade's versions. I read the thread Draven. I simply put in my two cents on the GAB legacy compared to the WWE's version of it. Thats all. If I had to pick one I'd say the match with Rey and Eddie. True quality match up.:lol
