TPIB 62
Credit: WWE.com Bobby Lashley cemented his spot in The Great American Bash's WWE Championship Match last week when he defeated Shelton Benjamin and the time of King Booker in the final "Beat the Clock" Match of the evening. This Monday night, right at 9 PM ET (8 PM CT), King Booker will look for revenge as he takes on Lashley in one-on-one action. Will royalty rule this week on Raw? Or will Lashley overthrow the King en route to his WWE Championship Match with John Cena? Also, Randy Orton may also have a chance to add another Legend to his list of victims. After he slapped WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes last week, “The American Dream” told Orton to meet him face to face in Lafayette. What does Dusty have in mind for the Legend Killer? Plus, Candice Michelle may be Women’s Champion, but Melina’s not ready to let go. After defeating Maria in action last week, the former champion attacked Candice, only to find herself with a face full of floor. Will the rivalry between Candice and Melina come to a head this week? Find out the answers to all of these questions and more on RAW, Monday night at 9/8 CT on USA. Conf. Matches/Events Opening Match: King Booker Vs. Bobby Lashley Dusty Rhodes To Confront Randy Orton Now, I thought that Dusty Rhodes and Randy Orton were to compete in a match, but judging by the WWE.com preview, that won't be the case (at least not yet). Does anyone smell Dusty Rhodes Vs. Randy Orton (Legend Vs. Legend Killer) at The Great American Bash? There's also the possibility that it could be Cody Rhodes Vs. Randy Orton, but I don't think Cody is up to that level yet. EDIT: Credit: 24Wrestling.com Cena's appearance on the Larry King Live show has caused WWE to change the originally planned main event for RAW in Lafayette, LA featuring John Cena & Bobby Lashley vs. King Booker & Mr. Kennedy. The main event will now feature Lashley vs. King Booker instead. Edited July 8, 2007 by TPIB
Guest FreeSpirit
Cena Vs Kennedy is a match WWE should save for SummerSlam or even WrestleMania. It would be horrendous booking if they gave away such a huge one on one match on free TV.
wyndorf 389
Kennedy will face Super Crazy, no doubt.

Guest DanielFullard
So despite missing a week of the build up to the fued Cena wont be there to build what should have been a majorly-hyped match?
Guest Dave7g
So despite missing a week of the build up to the fued Cena wont be there to build what should have been a majorly-hyped match? The build up: "I really respect you John!" That always seems to work...
Guest Dave7g
Isn't Lashley gay though? Well he is "softly spoken".
DC 536
Isn't Lashley gay though? Well he is "softly spoken".So was Mike Tyson. And, Dave (if that is your real name), so what if he's gay? We could then have Cena in his element with all the gay jokes, then have Cena beat up Lashley's on-again, off-again toyboy, which would have the gay rights activists up in arms. This would then have the effect of taking the heat away from steroids and make the press focus on the gay-bashing that goes on in wrestling instead. Everybody wins....except Benoit 'cos he's dead and forgotten.
Guest Chriscare
hmm, wonder who Lashley is gonna pick as his partner. Had a think and Raw doesn't actually have any other faces higher than a midcard level, so i've gotta think its a returning Triple H
Guest Craig
It'll probably be Super Crazy.

TPIB 62
I don't know why J.R. and King made a big deal out of Jeff Hardy being Lashley's partner. For a minute (actually it clicked during the segment with Booker and Kennedy backstage) I, too, thought that Trips would team with Lashley, but thinking back on it, of course it wouldn't happen. I don't know how WWE plans to pull of Trips' return, but it's going to have to be huge. It occured to me that they can't have his return during a 'mystery tag partner' match. I think a Undertaker-style return (ala the Judgment Day return) is in order. Perhaps he'll cost Orton the match against Dusty, but I doubt it, seeing as their feud is allegedely being put off. Anyways, I thought this week's RAW was okay, but why J.R. mentioned it as a "historic" night (or something like that) is beyond me. I'm glad that WWE got the Umaga/Marella rematch out of the way up front, now we can see a good feud develop with Umaga (I hope). Perhaps a feud with Snitsky? The Cade & Murdoch/Highlanders match was less than stellar, in my opinion. I would've much preferred C & M Vs. Cryme Tyme. Snitsky made his return in (what else?) a squash match. London/Benjamin was an okay match, despite not making any sense, whatsoever. London almost got Lilian on his entrance. It's kind of interesting how they adjusted the Beth Phoenix character to being a heel now that Mickie is face. Sounds like a rare "multi-diva" feud (even though I imagine they'll be seperate; IE: Candice Vs. Melina and Mickie Vs. Phoenix). I'm glad Phoenix is back, since it may bring more Mickie. Am I alone in not giving a crap about this Carlito/Sandman feud? It looks to me like WWE just put two guys who weren't doing jack into a feud. The "main event" was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary, even though seeing Jeff Hardy in the main event was weird. RAW Overall- 4/
