Guest Jung
Thierry. Tevez. Torres. Looks like they will impact 3 of the Premiership's Big 4. Who's departure or arrival will affect the clubs the most do you think? Answers on a postcard. Or in this thread.
Guest MastersGonads
Arsenal will definitely be around the mid table this season, they are a club in transition Liverpool - Torres will add much needed goals, but I feel they still will still lack something, and the season will be much the same as last Manchester United - Tevez will only bolster what is already a extremly talented and strong squad For me Tevez
King 277
Tevez should hook well with Rooney, perfect combo I thnk. Torres,Im still 50/50 about him. He's not an out an out goal machine but he is young and should do well for us.Time will tell I suppose. I think the Gunners will struggle IMO,top 4 im not sure. BRM 220
Subject to a medical, he'll be at United within a couple of weeks. Well that is unless Madrid come in and offer a Iranian businessman £30 million.

Guest frednut
Majority of people are forgetting that Arsenal played near enough 75% of last season WITHOUT Henry and still finished 4th. I'm not having none of this mid table club bollocks. Mid table are clubs like Blackburn, Newcastle and Everton and Arsenal are head and shoulders above them. We still have Fabregas, Toure, Van Persie, Gilberto, Gallas, Eboue and Lehmann, the core of our team. If anything losing Henry will be a good thing as it will teach us a new way of football. We proved last season we can cope without him (Beating Man U without him, anyone remember that game?). Saying we are now a mid table club is a huge over reaction. We will finish 4th at least. but to answer the original question if Man U can get Tevez I can see them winning the Champs League. Torres will need time. Arsenal proved last season we can play without Henry. So Tevez for me.
Guest MastersGonads
Where I agree, that Henry only played 75% of the Season, he still was at the club. He was your talismanic club captain, the pivotal figure at the club. He was the inspiration to Adebayor and Walcott (Both have said as much) and without him there, he has left a huge void, Arsenal for me without Henry at the club are like a rudderless ship. The new signing Da Silva is going to take time to settle, and I dont think either Van Persie, Adebayor or Walcott are able at this time, to step in and lead the strikeforce. Adebayor did a great job last season, but there is greater pressure to perform this season, with the added pressure of being the leading striker at the club. With Fabregas's future still unclear, and the fatc that towards the end of last season, he looked far off key, just like Denilson, Van Persie and Eboue, and I reiterate my point that Arsenal are a club in transition. Red05 343
Geez, Adebayor has scored just 36 club goals in his entire career, playing 157 games. CRAP!
Guest big pau hoolinator
If Adebayor could take one maybe two more chance(s) per game than he did last season he could be a 20/season man

Guest frednut
Geez, Adebayor has scored just 36 club goals in his entire career, playing 157 games. CRAP! Thats wrong. He's scored 45 League goals in his career. He's scored more in cup competitions though. He has a record of 1 in 4 for Arsenal. Thats decent form. 16 goals for Arsenal in 1 and a half seasons is pretty decent. Edit: 45 league goals and he is 23 years of age. Thats a pretty great record for a young player like him. Guest big pau hoolinator
and his record for Togo is dazzling, and theres more to a player than goals even if he is a striker

Ah Apologies.... We shall wait and see!

I think that yes if he started every game for Arsenal 1 in 4 would be a bit poor but he doesn't play every game he is used in rotation so that makes it hard for him to build up momentum or a run of scoring so 1 in 4 is alright for someone who isnt in the first team and until he gets that chance it'll be hard to judge him IMO

BRM 220
Off topic i know but i think the best bit of business done so far this summer has been Jose signing up Sidwell. He'll be a regular in the Chelsea team come the end of the season, mark my words.
Burakiosaurus 129
was talking to my Gooner mate last night, and he was of the opinion they should have sold him last year after the Champs league final in which he choked and got more money. Same was said of Viera. Couldn't help but agree with him.
