I hate the spinning WWE title so much it makes the championship seem cartoonish. Do you think when Cena eventually loses it they will keep that belt? I know Edge had the spinning rated r title but can you really see Lashley or Trips walking around with a spinny title?

While that belt still makes money for WWE on the merchandise stands and on Shopzone etc, and while Cena is still the WWE Champion (or in the title hunt), that belt wont be going anywhere anytime soon.

I'm fine with it while Cena is champ. I just hope they do the right thing and switch it back when they plan to put the strap on someone else longterm.

 

Could you imagine Trips coming out with that belt?...nah

I think it's insane that they are still using it since it has absolutley nothing to do with his gimmick now.

 

It's a stupid looking toy, but it does represent the champion perfectly. Cheap, tacky and al for show, with no substance or meaning.

No wrestler is bigger than the title, so no wrestler should have his own version of the belt. It sucked when Austin had the smoking skull belt, and sucks when Cena has the spinning belt.

 

It cheapens the title to have different versions of the belt, there should be one version of the belt, and it should never change, unless it's a huge event that only happens every 10 years or so.

I thought it was kinda cool when it first came out, now like Cena it's just plain annoying. I do find Cena entertaining at times, and in real life he's the nicest WWE superstar I've ever met out of all of them but he needs to have the belt taken off him for a good long while and bring back the old belt, take away that ridiculous spinning thing, I really can't see The Game walking around with that joke of a thing.

There's no way that Triple H is going to keep the spinning belt. Sure, he'll hold it up when he wins it, but the next night he'll have a proper one.

Although I hated the belt when I first saw it, I really don't mind the spinning WWE title belt anymore, it has grown on me. It suits John Cena's gimmick and apparently sells very well at the merchandise stands, so I don't really have much of a problem with them using it.

 

Actually, I think it looks more like a major title belt than the current standard WWE belt, which I've always thought looked like a tag team title. :lol

As for those who complain the fact that the WWE title spins, when was the last time this was mentioned or shown on TV? It's been a looooong time since that was a focal point of the belt.

 

I can, however, see the belt being replaced the next time Cena loses it.

It irks me how the WW bit always ends up upside down when it's being held up, ending up as an M. Small thing, yes, but still annoying.

The spinning belt is retarded. Its a cool thing to merchandise for kids, but thats as far as it should have went, it should have simply been a merchandise toy belt made for kids. In 1998/99 they merchandised a Brahma Bull belt and a 'Symbol' belt for Rock and Taker respectively, but they never made actual belts to be used on TV and rightfully so.

 

The belt looks like a toy, its ugly and it cheapens the title in my opinion. I'm sure once HHH or somebody else bags the title, they will switch back to the Undisputed design and switch it back when Cena gets it again.

it's way too over the top. And I know the premise of a champioship belt is to have a precious piece of metal that also represents one's strength and dignity, but it's diamon and ruby encrusted, with weird trapezoidal angles, and it's too great of a departure from an actual title belt for me.
