Guest dpddave
With the recent draft of Viscera to the ECW brand, don’t be surprised if you see him on television more now, as WWE has some big plans for this massively large wrestler. WWE is going to drop his current gimmick of being “The World’s Largest Love Machine” and make him more of a One Man Gang character, which means he will be basically be a mean, bad, wrecking machine. The idea for this is to get him over as big and unstoppable in ECW, and then bring him back to RAW or SmackDown! as a monster heel that can headline main events. They recently did this with Snitsky who is scheduled to mow down undercarders for the rest of the year and feud with Cena in 2008. Reason behind Viscera’s push is because of his massive size and unlike some of the wrestlers backstage, he doesn’t have many problems. Dave Lagana didn’t want him on the brand if he wasn’t revamped with new image because he felt the “Love Machine’ gimmick would never get over as a headliner for the company. Furthermore, Vince McMahon liked the idea of Viscera being pushed like the One Man Gang in the 80's. Plus, it's easy to convince Vince to push a monster, even it's failed a few times before, as opposed to a smaller person, even if the person has a history of past successSource: Wrestling Observer Newsletter God i hope this is wrong..... Viscera certainly has the size to portray the monster heel, and it will be a massive improvement on his current gimmick. It would be great to see him tear through the competition (much like Mark Henry on SmackDown), and he would suit the role perfectly IMO. Paul 584
I want to cry now. The guy has found his role as a mid card semi comedy act. A big push will not work IMO.

I think it would work if its a slow but steady push to the main event scene. If they just throw him in at the deep end, or push him too quickly thats when its likely to fail IMO. Murph 93
Plus, Cena has FU'd and beat him before, but I suppose it's best we just ignore that, and pretend it's amazing when he does it again.

Guest Anime Otaku
Well he was that size or close to it when he was in M.O.M so I think he's a legit heart attack risk.

Guest Adam Gill
I actually quite like Viscera and think that he gets too much criticism, but this rumoured push is just way over the top. Sure, turn him heel, get rid of the gimmick and give him something more serious, but to push him to the main event is just ridiculous. Saying that, this is the same group who are currently pushing Snitsky - so we shouldn't really be shocked by this rumour.
etz 78
Snitsky, Main Event, seriously??? Brain......overload......monstrous......stupidity.....WWE.......writers.... Virgin.....Subscription.....cancellation.....imminent....
DC 536
Viscera should always have been booked as damn near unstoppable. I can remember a time (I believe it was a tag match) when it took shots of 'Sweet Chin Music' just to knock him down. If they start to book him like that against the lower wrestlers like Nunzio and Ball Mahoney (who should have been treated better, but is now in the Scotty 2 Hotty role), with him steamrollering through them like they were nothing. Move him up to better calibre wrestlers and it should work. They've certainly pushed worse wrestlers than the former rapper.
Guest dpddave
The thing is with both snitsky and viscera they'll be pushed, have one maybe two main event matchs with cena and that will be it really id imagine....

Guest WillowTheWisp
I think it would work if its a slow but steady push to the main event scene. Judging by the recent history of the WWE....*in best John Wayne voice* There are two chances of that happening and slim just left town.
