World Wrestling Entertainment is deeply saddened to report that today Chris Benoit and his family were found dead in their home. There are no further details at this time, other than the Benoit family residence is currently being investigated by local authorities.

ย

Tonightโ€™s Raw on USA Network, which will begin at the special time of 8/7 CT, will serve as a tribute to Chris Benoit and his family. WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit familyโ€™s relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy.

I think this weeks Raw is one to miss, it's been a week into the Vince's Death angle and i am sick of it. If in story he is dead then just stop talking about it and then let the show go on and let it stay there untill they "find" out who did it.

Pretty good bet since the whole 3 hours is dedicated to the memory of "Mr" McMahon.

ย

You would think listening to you, that someone was forcing you to watch it.....

ย

But we all know firslty you just type your little tirades to gain a reaction, and secondly, at 1am Tuesday morning you will be sat watching....ready to write you comical anti WWE rants....

I think his anti-WWE rants are a pretty good balance to your pro-WWE "can't criticise because it's ENTERTAINMENT" rants.

Thats funny, because I openly criticise the WWE on numerous occasions....so that cheap shot nosedived....

I imagine, seeing as it's a "memorial service" that WWE will have a casket of some sort (even though Mr. McMahon's "remains" are non-existent) if they want to pull off this RAW as a memorial service. Granted, to make it look legit they'd need to have the superstars/staff all come out in black suits/dresses and everything, but I don't see them doing that. I could be wrong, though.

I watch it because I like wrestling, I have for far too long. I enjoy talking about it here, now you on the other hand have said many times that you don't like it at all and it's just a job to you.

ย

Yet you will be here at 1 am on Tuesday morning, ready to defend absolutley everything and anything that happens, in a towing the corporate line, as always.

Actually I wont be on here to defend it 1am Tuesday Morning, as I will be coordinating with the States, on the live show, its a bit difficult to post on TWO and Produce a show for a network at the same time....

ย

And yes, I have no real love or passion for the wrestling, I do see it as a job, but I suppose at times, this is what gives me an opposite view to a 'fans' perspective, but does that make my opinion any less valid? Without any arrogance at all, I watch over 30+ hours of WWE a week, and have an insight into certain production aspects, which gives me at least some credibility on what I think is good and bad in the WWE?!

ย

Plus, As I said to Craig, I have openly criticised the WWE on numerous occasions, If there is something I dont agree with, I certainly wouldnt defend the WWE at all.....Plus the fact that I have left the States now means I have no corporate line to toe...

ย

You see Dave, Its easy why I am so misconstrued about your love for wrestling as its very hard at times to find anything you actually enjoy about the WWE, seeing you complain about most aspects of a WWE show on a weekly basis

And that's why we love him.

ย

See I am of the thinking if I dont like something, I wont watch it...instead of complaining about it at every oppurtunity....

I do like it though.

ย

It's like watching your favourite football team put in half arsed perfomances every week, then disecting it.

ย

Just because your team is the worst it's been in a long, long time, doesn't mean you don't stop watching them, or liking football.

Well, to me, wrestling is different that normal television. If Celtic started to play poorly, and were lying in mid-table, I'd still be watching every game, so I suppose it's the same way with Dave and wrestling...not to speak for Dave.

ย

EDIT://

Spooky, we posted nearly the exactly same thing at the same time.

Jeez you two...its hard enough debating with two of you, let alone when you have abnormal psychic qualities!! :lol

ย

I do strangely understand where your coming from.....But for me it seems *at times* your like a guy I used to sit near when watching the mighty Plymouth Argyle.....He used to complain if we were 3-0 because it wasnt 5, or would give our striker grief if he missed, when he had already scored a hatrick...!!

Now that is quite strange, perhaps the ghost of Owen IS in fact haunting the Kemper arena.

This RAW might be missable. I'll end up watching but can't stand it if they're going to fill it with Tributes and Mcmahon highlights of absolutely everything, he's been entertaining aswell but half of this has already been shoved down our throats for the past week. It depends what matches happen though aswell, if they're going to have some Interpromotional matches it could make for a great show Wrestling wise.

I guess it's because Raw is live, and therefore worth watching. Oh and it's Friday Night too! And that's all I need to say.
