Guest FreeSpirit
I was watching a documentary on The History Channel this morning about Cannibalism (for the younger members here that don't know what it means, it basically means to eat another human being's flesh). Now dont get me wrong this thread isn't a Jeffrey Dahmer situation where he butchers people for his own sick pleasure, but more of an intense survival excercise, much like the 1993 film Alive where they ate fallen members of their party to avoid death. Quite a disturbing scenario I know, but for example if you were stranded in the middle of nowhere with absolutely no means of rescue, a few people in your party had already died from their injuries, all your supplies of food and drink had run out, and you hadn't eaten anything for days, I'm wondering would you ever consider eating another human being just to survive.? The only other likely option is that you would die. I know its morally wrong to eat another human being who is already dead, but if it was a case of survival, would you do it? Discuss....
