That Crazy Sheik

There is a minor spoiler in this thread, but I didn't put it in the subsection since it isn't really a big thing that he appeared.

Yet another classic Iron Sheik moment occurred backstage before the 6/11 Raw.

 

Sheik arrived in the early afternoon and saw the big in-house designer beauticians' area where all the WWE Divas get their hair and make-up done. He decided he wanted them to give him an old fashioned barber shop shaving, to his head and face of course. They said, well, "We can't do grooming, we're just beauticians." That set Sheik off and he launched into one of his trademark tirades with all of the usual sayings. The beauticians and WWE Divas quietly slinked away from the scene.

 

Sheik then said he would do the grooming himself. He sat down and began to trim his moustache. However, he made a miscue as he ended up snipping off one side of his moustache. He got really, really mad again and launched into yet another huge tirade. He blamed the beautician's for the loss of part of his moustache. If you watch Raw, you can see that it was a little uneven.

 

If you watch RAW, you can see that it was a little uneven.

 

If you ask me, Sheik is the one that's "uneven". This begs the question, when did The Iron Sheik lose his mind? To that I say, he's always been crazy and the older he gets, the crazier he gets. Sheik is like an Iranian Kim Jong Il.

This begs the question, when did The Iron Sheik lose his mind?

People buy into his stuff. Look at the first shoot interview, compared to the stuff he does now. Orignially, he was quite respectful, but came out with some hilarious lines. His manager realises his crazyness is the attraction (They gave him a nickname like the 'King Of YouTube' or something), so he does it all the time. The stuff with Warrior, his 37 most recent shoots, other appearances are all purposely over the top.

 

He looks like an idiot, but people like it. As long as they keep money in his pocket, it'll get more and more ridiculous.

Shiek is completely justified. My girlfriend, a professional hair stylist (there haven't been beauticians in this country for decades), shakes her head and declares the stylists employed by the WWE as blind, useless morons every time shes sees a Diva.

The guy is fried man, his mind is all f'd up from the years of coke and booze. He is insane, plus he still talks about his match with Hogan from 24 years ago and how he made Hogan a star :lol

Sheik has always been warped. There were stories of the insanity of the guy YEARS before the BrianBlair line even occurred.

 

I do think, however, that Sheik is self-aware enough to know to turn the voume up a notch. He's getting more recognition now than he has in years, and I'm sure the money is suddenly flowing again.

 

It's a mixture of both, in summary.

A Sheik talk show would be gold! Don't see how he can get around the wellness program though :lol Theyshould actually have a roundtable discussion segment with The Sheik, Khali, Eugene, The Bushwackers, and The Zombie. I'm sure there would be tons of great discussion and babble.

All I have to ask you is how he would make money off of youtube? You could debate whether or not his shoots have got him back on WWE tv or not. I guess if he gets his own show on WWE tv there'd be a better idea.
