Guest SuperKick Kid
Let's hope with the Draft tonight that we get some interesting matches at Vengeance that we havent seen before or havent seen in a while. That means: Please No Khali vs Cena again. And as much as I like Santino, he shouldnt be I-C Champ, hopefully a newcomer to the brand takes the belt from him and not Chris Masters. Guest Slim Jim
Could be an interesting show with ALL the titles on the line.
Guest dpddave
Im not liking that do or die stipulation......Batista better not take the title of edge. Although if edge wins Batista will have nothing left on Smackdown really so he might be moved to RAW tonight.
Guest Kanenite
I don't think the Do or Die stipulation has anything behind it as previous matches have done eg Survivor Series 2006 when Batista won the Title from King Booker. I've read Edge has been told he'll have a long Title run aswell and it just doesn't make sense to have him win the Title when you've got Edge as champ who'll have a load of interesting feuds and probably some matches we haven't seen before. The whole All Titles on the line though interests me as we're bound to see atleast 1 Title change, hopefully the IC.
Guest dpddave
Ye and the CW title will be defended for the first time in like.....a very long time!
TPIB 62
Ye and the CW title will be defended for the first time in like.....a very long time! For the first time since February's No Way Out, which was 4 months ago in change. We'll also see the first title defense by the World Tag Team Champions (Cade & Murdoch) and the United States Champion (MVP). I am wondering who will vie for the vacant ECW World Title at Vengeance? Benoit has to be a given.
Guest Kanenite
I was thinking Benoit but who against, could be Burke, Cor Von or maybe a Triple Threat or maybe a Fatal Four way with CM Punk in there aswell. We'll see.
Guest Twig
I don't understand the Do or Die stipulation. Are they going to kill Batista if he loses? pleasebetruepleasebetruepleasebetruepleasebetruepleasebetrue! ;)
Guest Sparrow
I don't understand the Do or Die stipulation. Are they going to kill Batista if he loses? i think it is something like, if he loses he wont get another shot at Edge.
TPIB 62
i think it is something like, if he loses he wont get another shot at Edge. I think he was joking. Now I just assumed so, but is this WWE Title Challenge Match going to be a "Fatal 5-Way"?
Guest Cathal
I think he was joking. Now I just assumed so, but is this WWE Title Challenge Match going to be a "Fatal 5-Way"? Yep,they advertised it on Raw last night but i'm not sure if the official name for it is a "Fatal Five Way".

I know they advertised it (I watched the show), but what I meant was, is this going to be a "one fall to a finish" match or an elimination style match or a gauntlet type match or what? Guest The Genetic Jackhammer
More than likely one fall to a finish. So it seems well to me anyway that batista is going to win the belt off Edge which will be a complete joke so I hope i'm wrong but with this 'do or die' stip it would point to a Batista win. Oh you didn't hear? WWE has changed it to a "Last Chance Match" now to respect the fake death of McMahon (still the same stipulation). Guest Kanenite
- The ECW Title will be decided in a Fatal Four Way match at WWE Vengeance. Chris Benoit vs. Elijah Burke vs. Marcus Cor Von vs. CM Punk will see the winner walk away as the ECW Champion. Also announced at the SmackDown tapings, Chavo Guerrero will defend his Cruiserweight title against Jimmy Wang Yang. - The current Vengeance card looks like this: WWE Title Challenge Match John Cena vs. Mick Foley, Randy Orton, King Booker and Bobby Lashley Do or Die Match for World Heavyweight Title Edge vs. Batista Fatal Four Way for ECW World Title CM Punk vs. Chris Benoit vs. Elijah Burke vs. Marcus Cor Von WWE Cruiserweight Title Match Chavo Guerrero vs. Jimmy Wang Yang Source: Wrestlezone As expected really. The Fatal Four way should be a decent match, Chavo vs JWY should be alright aswell.
TPIB 62
Not to be skeptical, as it's a given that the ECW World Title will be a Fatal 4-Way, but how does the guy who wrote this know that will happen? Was it announced on SmackDown? Because it wasn't announced on ECW. I just thought of this, but could it be possible that Rey Mysterio could return to RAW instead of SmackDown! and challenge for the WWE Title in the Challenge Match? For that matter, so could Triple H (I doubt they'd do that at a PPV like Vengeance, though). Edited June 14, 2007 by TPIB

So it seems well to me anyway that batista is going to win the belt off Edge which will be a complete joke so I hope i'm wrong but with this 'do or die' stip it would point to a Batista win. There have been countless angles where there has been a wrestler who lost his "last chance" at the title, but got another shot down the line. Lex Luger losing at Summerslam '93, but then going on to (co-) win the Rumble and get a shot at 'Mania. Plus the stip isn't that Batista can't get another title shot, but that he can't get a shot while Edge is still champion. That alone opens up a few possible ways to go when Batista doesn't win the belt at Vengeance.

Guest Cey19
WWE Vengeance - just another wrestling show Is it me or does anyone else out there get the feeling that this sundays PPV is just going to be another below par performance from WWE. Let's be honest WWE destroyed what nostalgia ECW ever had and then buried the brand with another below par PPV, so come this sunday will WWE offer us a good show or will I again have to record it and skip through most of it until the main event, this time hopefully not!!! Guest dpddave
I didnt even Know it was this sunday....just goes to show how good the builds being!
The Icon 152
Well bar the fact it's a "champion" night*, what ever one of these is anyway, it's just an average b level show. *Yes I know what the WWE definition is but most ppvs feature several title matches anyway, big deal that this one features only Title matches. Guest dpddave
Didnt backlash only feature title matchs aswel?
